The CR0078 contains a Bluetooth EDR radio capable of transferring data at up to 3Mbps and also supports USB, RS232, Synapse, Keyboard Wedge and IBM46XX (RS485) interfaces for cradle to host communication. Cradle to Scanner Communication The Broadcom BCM2046 Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR radio provides a Bluetooth link to the DS6878 and LS4278 scanners allowing the transfer of images and barcode data at a maximum data transfer rate of 3Mbps. RF power from the Bluetooth radio is routed to a GigaAnt omni-directional antenna. The DS6878 automatically pairs with the CR0078 upon insertion in to the cradle. The CR0078 cradle also supports presentation scanning, utilizing the cradle contacts as GPIO’s when the DS6878 is docked in the cradle. Cradle to Host Communication The CR0078 cradle is a multi-interface product supporting USB, RS232, Synapse, Keyboard Wedge and IBM46XX (RS485.) This is achieved using a modified Multi-Interface architecture based off the Multi-Interface Micro (MIMIC). Using this standard allows compatibility with the existing Universal Cable Set and enables auto detection of the interface cable type. Power Supply Use ONLY a LISTED Motorola, Type no. 50-14000, or PWRS-14000, Direct Plug-In Power supply, marked Class 2 or LPS, or SELV, Rated 12 Vdc, 0.65 A Min. (IEC60950-1). Use of Alternative Power Supply will invalidate any approvals given to this unit and may be dangerous.](https://usermanual.wiki/Zebra-Technologies/CR0078.Product-brochure/User-Guide-1341979-Page-1.png)
