Welcome to use this Bluetooth FM transmitter BTC008L. Please read this
user manual carefully before using it.
Before use
1. About BTC008L
BTC008L is a Bluetooth hands-free car kit with a Bluetooth stereo
receiver and built-in FM transmitter. It also has a DC 5V USB Charging
socket to power or charge other devices. With BTC008L you can make calls
and listen to your music, everything transmitted to the car’s FM radio.

3. Prepare before use
1) Put the cigarette lighter plug into the car cigarette socket, ensure is
connected, as the following pictures show:
2) Press the power switch on cigarette adaptor to activate BTC008L.
3) Blend the gooseneck and make it face to the user.

Getting started
1. Adjusting frequency
Before using BTC008L, you have to adjust its frequency to be the same as
the car’s FM radios.
1) Adjust the frequency of your car’s FM radio to a frequency that is not
occupied by a broadcasting radio station;
2) Rotating spin button of BTC008L to adjust its frequency to be the same
as the car’s FM radios. Frequency step is 0.2MHz. Clockwise rotating is
increasing frequency, anticlockwise rotating is decreasing frequency.
Remark:
BTC008L will remember and show last used frequency automatically
after turn on.
The channel which is not occupied by the public radio, you can hear the
pure noise usually. The noise is more pure, the channel is more suitable
for use as FM frequency.

2. Pairing BTC008L with Bluetooth devices

Remarks:
Long press button wouldn’t enter pairing mode if BTC018L is
connect to a device.
2) Pairing with a Bluetooth cell phone
Please make sure your cell phone is Bluetooth-enabled. Specific pairing
steps may vary with different cell phones. Please refer to your cell phone’s
user manual for further information. The general pairing steps are as
follows:
a) Keep BTC008L and your Bluetooth cell phone within 1 meter when
pairing, the closer the better.
b) Please make sure BTC008L in pairing mode
c) Switch on the cell phone’s Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth
devices. After the search is completed, select “BTC008L” from the
Bluetooth device list. After successful connecting, red LED of
button and blue LED of button will be on.

Remarks:
Pairing mode will last 10 minutes. If no devices can be connected over 10
minutes, BTC008L will back to standby mode. If you want to repair,
please turn off BTC008L first and then enter pairing mode again.
After successful pairing, BTC008L and the Bluetooth cell phone will
remember each other, BTC008L will not need to re-pair with the
Bluetooth cell phone next time unless the pairing information is deleted
because of a new pairing.
Every time BTC008L is turned on, it will connect to last connected
devices automatically.
Under the status of standby mode, and non-connected with devices, short
press button, button or button once, BTC008L will
connect with last connected device.
3) Pairing BTC008L with multi-devices
BTC008L can connect with two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
The general pairing procedures are as follows:
1) Pairing BTC008L with device one.
2) Turn off device one, then turn on BTC008L and make it enter pairing
mode again, pairing with device two.
3) Operate device one to connect with BTC008L. BTC008L has already
connected with two devices in this moment. BTC008L will connect to the
two devices automatically after rebooting.
Remark:
Turn on: In standby mode(not connected) or pairing mode, long press
button and button for 2 seconds, release it until you hear four raise
tone
Turn off: In standby mode(not connected) or pairing mode, long press
button and button for 2 seconds, release it until you hear four
fall tone
To improve the stabilization of headset, we suggest you turn off the
multi-pair function when you only connect with one cell phone.

3. The operation of BTC008L
Please ensure BTC008L frequency to be the same as the car’s FM radios,
and connect to a Bluetooth cell phone. With BTC008L you can make calls
and listen to your music, everything transmitted to the car’s FM radio.

4. Line in
This product has Line in function. Using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable.
One end inserts into the Line in socket of BTC008L and the other end
inserts into your media player. You can enjoy music from radio after playing
music on media player.
Remark:
In line in mode, BTC008L can’t control volume, pause, last track/ next
track function, you must control it on media player.
When BTC008L connected to a Bluetooth device and connected to
another media player through 3.5mm Line-in jack at the same time. Line
in mode have priority. Plug the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable, then music
from Bluetooth devices will available.
When BTC008L connected to a Bluetooth device and connected to
another music player through 3.5mm Line-in jack at the same time. Line
in end was playing music. When coming a call or dialing, music from
line in end will pause automatically. It will playback after call is ended.
5. Charging for portable device
This product has charge output jack (DC5V/1A). You can charge for
portable device.

6. Factory reset
In the status of turned on and not connect with Bluetooth device, long press
button, button and button about 2 seconds simultaneously, and
release it until red LED of button and blue LED of button flash
twice simultaneously.
Remarks:
After factory reset, all the paired list will be deleted. When you turn on
BTC023, it will enter pairing mode automatically, and you need to pair
with Bluetooth device again.
Care and maintenance
Read the following recommendations before using BTC008L. Following
these you will be able to enjoy our product for many years.
Keep it dry and don’t take it to damp places to avoid the product’s
internal circuit being affected.
Keep the product away from direct sunlight or hot places. High
temperatures will shorten the life of electronic devices. Don’t expose the
product to cold areas. It may damage the internal circuit board.
Don’t try to disassemble the product as it may get damaged if you are not
professional.
Don’t let it fall down onto the floor or other hard surfaces. The internal
circuit might get damaged.
Don’t use intensive chemical products or detergent to clean the product.
Don’t scratch the surface with sharp things.
In case the product doesn’t function properly, send it to the store you bought
it. The staff will help you to solve the problem.
FAQs
1. Why is the red LED of the button light on permanently?
The lighting red LED means that BTC008L already established a connection
with a Bluetooth HFP device, ready to make calls.

2. Why is the blue LED of the button light on permanently?
The blue LED shows that BTC008L is connected to a Bluetooth A2DP
device, you can now listen to your music.
3. Why is the sound coming from my car’s FM radio noisy?
a) Please make sure your car’s FM radio has been set to an unused
frequency;
b) Ensure both BTC008L and your car’s FM radio use the same frequency;
c) Please make sure BTC008L is in the effective working range.
4. Why can’t BTC008L be paired with a Bluetooth device?
a) Please make sure BTC008L is in pairing mode;
b) Ensure BTC008L is in the effective working range.
5. Why can’t music be played when connected to a Bluetooth cell
phone?
a) Please make sure your Bluetooth cell phone supports A2DP;
b) Ensure BTC008L is in the effective working range.
6. Why can’t adjust volume？
BTC008L can’t adjust volume when line in m is function.
7. Why can’t pause, play, previous song and next song be controlled
from BTC008L during music playback?
a) BTC008L can’t remote control these functions when playing music from
a music player connected to 3.5mm Line in socket;
b) You need to connect a Bluetooth device supporting AVRCP (Audio/Video
Remote Control Profile) to BTC008L to remote control these functions.
Please make sure your cell phone or Bluetooth transmitter supports
AVRCP.
8. How far are the Bluetooth effective range and FM transmit range?
a) According to the Bluetooth standard, the max. controllable range of a
Class 2 hands-free kit is 10 meters. But it varies with different
environments and paired cell phones
b) FM transmit range is up to 4 meters.
