Welcome to use this Bluetooth stereo receiver BTR017N. Please read this
user’s manual carefully before use.
„ Before use
1. About BTR017N
BTR017N is a stereo Bluetooth receiver. A common audio device also can
receive Bluetooth audio by using it.
2. System requirements
1)Audio device with 3.5mm audio input jack, such as speakers, radios etc .
2)Bluetooth transmitting device supporting A2DP profile, such as Bluetooth
mobile phones, Bluetooth transmitter etc.
„ Getting started
1. Charging the receiver
BTR017N comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, prior to using it, it is
recommended to charge the battery fully for the first time. When the
receiver emits a string of warning tones every 1 minute and the red LED
flashes. It means battery low. Please recharge the battery fully.
1)Plug the USB charging cable into the charging jack of PC or charger.
2) Plug the end of USB charging cable into charging port of receiver.
RED light on→Charging
RED light off→Finished charging
3) It will take about 2 hours to finish charging.
3. Overview of BTR017N
Warning:
The battery is recyclable.
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to
excessive heat place, such as sunshine, fire or the like.
2 Reeling the cable
1) Please reel the audio line into the cable slot if you don’t use the product.
It is convenient to carry and store. Please operate it as shown below .

Remarks:
Please don’t push the 3.5 mm plug into the buckle directly when you reel
the audio line.
‹ Please don’t pull the3.5mm plug out from the buckle directly when you
take out the audio line.
‹ The audio line should be push in or pull out by sliding as above shown to
avoid the damage of the buckle.

Remark: The pairing mode will last 2 minutes, the receiver BTR017N will
switch to standby mode automatically if no devices can be connected within
2 minutes.
2)Pairing with Bluetooth mobile phone
Prior to using the receiver for the first time, you have to pair it with a
Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. The general pairing procedures are as
follows:
(1) Place the receiver and Bluetooth mobile phone where they are easily
viewable by no more than 1 meter apart;
(2) Enter the receiver’s pairing mode (please refer to “How to enter pairing
mode);
(3) Activate your mobile phone’s Bluetooth function and set your mobile
phone to search for Bluetooth devices within range, and select “BTR017N”
from the list of devices shown. After successful connecting, blue LED of
receiver flashes twice every 4 seconds.

Remark: In order to save power, the receiver will turn off automatically if
no devices can be connected after 5 minutes.

Remarks:
‹ After successful pairing, the receiver and the mobile phone will
remember each other, they will no need to re-pair next time. Every time
the receiver is turned on, it will connect to the last connected devices
automatically.
‹ Every time the receiver is turned on, and if it doesn’t connect to any
devices, short press MFB button once, the receiver will connect to the
last connected device.
‹ When the receiver and the mobile phone are out of effective range and
disconnected, they can connect to each other automatically once going
back to effective range.
3)Pairing receiver with a Bluetooth cell phone via NFC.
If your cell phone support near field communication(NFC), please active
NFC function in your cell phone. Use the BTR017N NFC zone to touch the
cell phone NFC zone for few seconds. BTR017N will turn on automatically
and pair with your cellphone.
5. Playing music
Connect BTR017N with Bluetooth device by plugging the 3.5mm audio
cable of BTR017N into Bluetooth audio device. And then you can enjoy
music wirelessly.

Remarks:
If your cellphone can’t connect with the BTR017N. You can turn on
BTR017N and connect it again.
4)Pairing receiver with Bluetooth transmitter
You can connect the receiver with a Bluetooth transmitter to enjoy music
wirelessly. Hereby take BTT005 (Bluetooth transmitter, not included in
accessories) for example. The pairing procedures are as follows:
1) Keep the receiver and transmitter within
1 meter when pairing;
2) Make the receiver enter pairing mode
(Please refer to “How to enter pairing
mode);
3) Turn on the Bluetooth transmitter and
make it enter pairing mode. It will search
for Bluetooth devices automatically and
send a pairing request. After successful pairing and connecting, blue LED
of the receiver flashes twice every 4 seconds.
Remarks:
‹ The pairing password of the receiver is “0000”. So, the receiver can only
pair with a Bluetooth transmitter whose pairing password is “0000”.
‹ If pairing still fails after several tries, please refer to the Bluetooth
transmitter’s user’s manual for further information.
Remarks:
‹ The music will automatically pause when you dial a phone number or
there is an incoming call.
‹ BTR017N hasn’t a microphone, so you need to switch the call to the
mobile phone. The music will automatically play when the call is ended.

„ Care and maintenance
Read the following recommendations carefully before using BTR017N.
Following these you will be able to enjoy this product for many years.
‹ Keep it dry and don’t put it in the dump place to avoid the product’s
internal circuit being affected.
‹ Keep the product away from direct sunlight or hot places. High
temperatures will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the
battery or distort certain plastic part.
‹ Don’t expose the product to cold areas. It may damage the internal circuit
board.
‹ Don’t try to disassemble the product as it may get damaged if you are not
professional.
‹ Don’t let it fall down onto the floor or other hard surfaces. The internal
circuit might get damaged.
‹ Don’t use intensive chemical products or detergent to clean the product.
‹ Don’t scratch the surface with sharp things. It may get damaged by
sweat.
‹ Please don’t attempt to take out the battery from the receiver, as this
might damage it.
In case the receiver doesn’t function properly, send it to the store you bought
it. The staff will help you to solve the problem.

1. What to do when BTR017N can’t be turned on?
a) Please charge the BTR017N.
b) The battery will enter the sleep mode if the BTR017N hasn’
t been use for
a long time. Then the red LED will on after charging for 30 minutes.
2. What to do when BTR017N can’t pair and connect to a Bluetooth
device?
a) Make sure the Bluetooth device is placed within 5 meters;
b) Ensure BTR017N has entered pairing mode.
3. What to do when BTR017N can’t be turned off?
Please charge the BTR017N for about 2 seconds.
