Portable Wireless Speaker with Fan User’s Guide for Model ISB298B Important Safety Instructions • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Read these Instructions. Keep these Instructions. Heed all Warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. PAIR VOL SPEAKER OFF Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). 1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the Aux In on the unit and the audio output/headphone jack on an audio device. 2. The speaker will automatically switch to Line In Mode (“LINE” on the display). 3. Use the controls on the connected device to select and play audio. If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the steps listed here. 1. Press and hold the Pair button to begin pairing. The pairing indicator will begin quickly flashing blue. Remain within 3 feet of the unit. 2. Using the controls on your Bluetooth device, scan for and select ISB298Bin your Bluetooth settings to pair. If your device requests a password, enter the default password 0 0 0 0 . Refer to the user’s manual for your specific device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices. 3. When successfully paired, the pairing indicator will turn solid and an audible chime will sound from the unit. 4. Use the controls on the connected device to select and begin playing audio. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through the speaker. Use the controls on the speaker or the connected device to play, pause, and adjust volume. Previously Connected Devices • • The speaker can remember multiple Bluetooth devices and will always try to re-connect to the last device used. To re-connect to a different device, turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices, then access the Bluetooth settings menu on the device you wish to use and select ISB298B.
