This radio mounts in a remote location, such as inside a vehicle. The Zonar 2010 unit is stored in this vehicle mount when not in use. Inserting a Zonar 2010 handheld into the vehicle mount radio will allow the 2010 unit to communicate with the radio. Once the EVIRNET™ base station radio contacts this vehicle mount radio, Zonar inspection data is transferred over the RF link from vehicle radio to the remote base station.
