Installation Install the driver software first, then connect the device to the PC! 2.1 Installing the driver software Insert the CD-ROM included in the scope of delivery into the computer drive. The installation software starts automatically. If the installation software does not start automatically, start the “install.bat” file in the root directory of the CD-ROM manually. The desktop reader is connected to the PC via a USB port. The media are simply inserted (key) or placed (card, etc.). USB extension cables or Hubs may not be used.
