Use the double-sided tape or screw provided for wall mounting scenarios. The thermostat will alert you if the sensor has been placed too far away. Operation Once the sensor is paired with the thermostat, it will continue to transmit motion and temperature data to better inform your thermostat. During the warranty period, ecobee shall, at its option, repair or replace any defective Products, at no charge. Any replacement and/or repaired device are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
