Getting Started
To use your i.Tech BlueCON35 IIe (“the Dongle”), please follow these simple steps:
Charge your Dongle
Pair your Dongle with any Stereo Headset has A2DP profile

The dongle comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using the dongle, it is recommendable to charge
the battery fully for the first time.

Charging Your Dongle
Connect the charger to an AC wall outlet and the charger plug to the dongle’s charging socket (fig.2). The LED
will be red while charging.
IMPORTANT Charging indication will be delayed for a few seconds if the headset has not been used for
a long time or the battery is drained.
Nominal Charging Time
Charging the battery fully is normally within 3 hours. When the battery is fully charged, the LED will turn blue
and remains on for 30 minutes. Disconnect the charger from AC wall outlet and the headset. Press and hold the
MFB (fig.1) for 2 seconds to turn the headset on, please refer to “Turning Your Headset On and Off” on the next
page.
Talk & Standby Time
The fully charged battery offers up to 6 hours talk time and up to 150 hours standby time. When no calls are in
progress, the headset remains turned on in standby mode.
Low Battery
When the dongle is on and the battery becomes low, the LED flashes red. Please recharge the battery as
described above.

Turning your Dongle on and off
Turning On
Press and hold the MFB for approximately 2 seconds until you see the LED flash Blue.
NOTE Press the MFB again each time you turn on the Dongle to reactivate the pairing so that the connection
between the Dongle and headset is resumed. For pairing, please refer to “Pairing Your BlueCON35 II” on page
5.
Turning Off
Press and hold the MFB for approximately 3 seconds until you see the LED indicator will not flash.

Pairing your dongle
1. Press the “MFB” button and hold for 8 seconds until the LED indicator flash “Blue” and “Red” alternately
2. Press and hold your bluetooth headset (A2DP profile enabled) and start the pairing mode.
3. The dongle will start pairing automatically until the LED indicator flashes “Blue” only
4. Once the pairing has been successfully completed, the LED indicator will only flash “Blue”
5. Enjoy your stereo music with the dongle
Note :
If LED indicator shows “Purple” or is off, please repeat step 2 – 5 again
The default passkey of the dongle is “8888”

Care and Maintenance
Dongle
Consider turning your Dongle off before placing it in your pocket or bag. If the MFB is accidentally
depressed, your mobile handset may place an unintended call.
Do not expose the Dongle to liquid, moisture or humidity as it is not waterproof.
Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the Dongle.
Do not expose the Dongle to extremely high or low temperatures.
Do not dispose of the Dongle in a fire as it will result in explosion.
Do not expose your Dongle to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches and damage.
Do not stick anything inside the Dongle as this may damage internal components.
Do not attempt to disassemble the Dongle as it does not contain serviceable components.
If you do not use the Dongle for long periods, be sure to store it in a dry place, free from extreme
temperatures and dust.

Built-in Battery
Do not attempt to replace the Dongle’s battery yourself as it is in-built and is not changeable.
Charge the battery in accordance with the instruction supplied with this user guide.
Only use the manufacturer supplied charger when charging the Dongle.
Charging
Only use the manufacturer supplied charger when charging the Dongle.
Do not disassemble the charger as it may expose you to dangerous voltages of other risks. Incorrect
reassembly can cause electric shock when the Dongle is subsequently used.
Do not use the charger outdoors or in damp areas.
Only charge the Dongle’s built-in battery in accordance with the instructions of this user guide.
Avoid charging the Dongle in extremely high and low temperatures.

Safety Information
Check local laws regarding use of a mobile handset and headset while driving. If you use the headset while
driving, ensure your attention and focus remains on your responsibility of driving safely.
Never allow children to play with the headset – small parts may be a choking hazard.
Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated
areas. These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive atmospheres.
Turn off your headset prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not use your headset in an aircraft.
Never mount or store your headset over any air bag deployment area as serious injury may result when an
air bag deploys.
Do not open or mutilate the built-in battery.
Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose as household waste

Troubleshooting
The Dongle
If you are unable to connect your Dongle to the headset, please try the following:
Ensure the Dongle is turn on and the battery is full
Ensure the Dongle is paired with your stereo headset no more than 1 meter apart and ensure there is
nothing in between
Ensure the Stereo headset is turning on. Please refer to your stereo headset user guide for specific
instruction
Ensure the Dongle is within a maximum of 10 meters of your stereo headset and there are no obstructions,
such as walls or other electronic devices in between
If the above steps do not resolve your problem, please reset your headset, remove both the batteries a while.
The i.Tech BlueCON35 IIe is compliant with and adopts the Bluetooth Specification 1.2. However,
interoperability between the device and other Bluetooth-enabled products is not guaranteed because it depends
on compatibility. For more information on the compatibility between the device with other Bluetooth-enabled
