1. Press the release button to extend the DEX connector.
Battery Fuel Gauge
When the DXSD is OFF, to show battery charge
remaining. double click the Bluetuoth tunctinn button.
The tour green LEDs show the available battery charge:
0-25“/o : 1st LED ON
25%~50"/o : 1st 8i 2nd LED ON
50%-75"/o :1st 8i 2nd 8t 3rd LED ON
75%-Full : 1st 8i 2nd 8t 3rd 8- 4th LED ON
The 1st LED will slowly blink when the remaining
charge in the battery is low.
When the battery is tully charged. all tour LEDe are ON.

The Blue Status Indicator LED (which is active when DX30 is ON)
uses the unique light sequences to indicate the following states:
Solid ON : Not paired
Fast Blinking isooveraole and ready to pair
Double Blinking : Paired and ready to DEX
Slow Blinking : Trensterring data

There are three methods to pair the DX30 to a mobile terminal:
1. Use the mobile terminal to scan the barcode on the DXSD
backside

Pairing the 0x30 to a host mobile terminal with NFC is limited
to Zebra terminals that are equipped with NFC. Pious rater to
the terminal user guide to ensure tho terminal is NFC ready
Felting the 0x30 to a oompliant Zebra host tarmlnal will require
additional comers tram Zebra:
1. A separate application is available that is recommended
2. Follow this message prompts displayod on the Zebra terminal
to oamplete the pairing sequence
3. Utilize the Bluetooth setup process in the mobile terminal
C rglng the DX30
Ualng the rugged charge cable (optional accessory):
1. Reflect the DEX connector.
2. Connect the Rugged Charge Cable cup to the
bottom at the DX3D.
3. Connect the otharend ortho Rugged Charge
Cable into the power supply wall adapter
(standard laptop port will not work).
4. Plug the power supply wall adapter into an Ac
outlet.
5. The DX30 will start to charge automatically,
The 620 mAh battery charges in approximately
less than 3 hours.
Ullng tha 4-slot charger (optlonal ace-nary):
1. Retreat the DEX cunnectur.
2. Make sure the 4-slot Charger power supply is
plugged intt: an AC uutjet.
3. Insert the DXSO with the rugged charge contacts
facing down into one of the slots of the 4-slot
charger.
4. The 0X30 wlll start to charge autamatically. The
620 mAh battery charges In approximately less
than 3 hours.
