- The Home Depot Protection Plan: Covers mechanical and electrical failures plus product breakdowns during normal use after the manufacturer's warranty expires for the balance of the 3 or 5-year term.

Manufacturer's Warranty coverage typically ends after Year 1 or Year 2.
