Doncaster Chamber is an independent membership organisation that brings together and speaks on behalf of businesses who want to grow and succeed in Doncaster. Ready Membership with Doncaster Chamber has been created to support businesses who have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The aim of these sessions is for you to leave with an outline plan on how to implement improvements into your own business plan.

Export Documentation
Doncaster Chamber is an issuing authority authorised by Her Majesty's Government for granting or certifying an officially prescribed Certificate of Origin, alongside the authentication of supporting invoices and other commercial documents. We prepare documentation in this respect under the guidance and operating conditions of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). We are also authorised by HMRC to process both EUR1 and ATR preferential trade documents.
Electronic export document submission for speed and efficiency
Doncaster Chamber provides an electronic document certification platform to provide the most efficient service possible to exporters. All export documents submitted through SGS eCert can be processed by us enabling faster turnaround times compared to manual submissions. We also offer a premium express certification service through the system that guarantees your document is ready in under 2 hours.
Advice and technical support can also be provided for the SGS eCert system by our team either over the phone or on a 1-2-1 basis at Doncaster Chamber, though dedicated training courses

are also available throughout the year for more detailed support.
Providing the export documents you need
Certificates of Origin
It is a customs clearance or commercial requirement in some countries to provide evidence of the origin of any incoming goods. A Certificate of Origin may be requested for any country worldwide and details the origins of all commercial goods that move under the certificate.
EUR1s
A preferential customs document required for exports to EU countries and other nations who have preferential trade agreements with the EU. This enables exporters to move goods to selected countries with either a reduced or nil `preferential' customs duty rate.
ATRs
A customs document for preferential exports to Turkey. It serves exporters in a similar way to EUR1s by enabling a reduced or nil `preferential' duty rate on goods exported to Turkey.
Commercial Document Authentication and Legalisation
Doncaster Chamber can authenticate documents for exporters where their clients require proof that documents are legitimate and correct. Where legalisation is also required for a destination country, the Chamber can arrange this procedure on the clients' behalf to simplify any organisational processes.
