We're gradually making our way to the end of this interesting year that most of us would care never to repeat. We're still doing fairly well and I think that all will be well over the upcoming winter. I appreciate everyone's support and concern for me and other small business during this challenging time.
EVENTS
I am starting up a limited selection of classes. I will be limiting the number of attendees to 3 and attendees must wear masks while in the shop even during class. Each attendee will have an iron and ironing board for their use which will be disinfected before and after class. I will also be offering those same classes online via the Zoom application for those that wish to participate but prefer to do so from the safety of their home. After the start of the new year, I will increasing the number of classes, but unless the situation changes, not the number of participants. Thank you to everyone who took time to answer my survey. It helps to know what type of classes you're interested in.
I am participating in the annual Oktoberfest which is our Quilt Run 101's fall version. I will have a free fall theme pattern available to pick up plus you can enter to win a $50 gift certificate from the shop. Limited to one entry per shop but you can enter in just one or every single one, if you wish to. Each store will be hosting their normal business hours, so you may wish to call ahead to confirm when they will be open. Oktoberfest runs the entire month of October.
I will be running one other promotion this year (sorry, Christmas cookies and cider has to be a no go this year). I will be giving away 3 merchandise baskets. You will receive one entry for every $30 spent on merchandise (includes sale items, but does not include classes, gift cards or ready made items). The first basket will be for entries from November 1st through 21st. The second basket will be for entries from November 24th through December 12th. And the third basket will be for entries from December 15th through 31st. Entries will be removed after the drawing for each basket and we will start with new entries.
