INFORMATION & SAFETY WARNINGS
- This user manual will guide you through the functions and usages of our Bluetooth enabled smart lock. Please read this manual carefully and keep it in a secure place.
- Consult this manual before you attempt to use the lock. If you have questions not answered by this manual or are in need of non-routine service, contact HBODIER customer service.
- Notes with this ⚠️ icon MUST BE READ, understood and obeyed to prevent injury or damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This lock shall only be used as described in this manual.
- Verify that all parts of the lock are accounted for. If any parts are missing, contact HBODIER customer service.
- In factory default status, the lock is on always open state after you install the lock (no power on). It means handle is free and lock can't be closed. You have to power on the lock with batteries or set admin and pair the lock with the app, and then the open mode will be changed to private mode automatically.
- Handle directions are reversible, please kindly follow chapter 4 (CHANGE HANDLE DIRECTION) to change the direction. Should you have any problem, please contact HBODIER customer service.
- There is a protective film on the front touch panel. If there are some scratches on the film, don't be scared. The protective film can be removed if you need.
- Use only four AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries from different brands. Never insert objects into the lock other than batteries as described in this manual.
- Verify all surfaces are flat and level before beginning installation. Installation on doors or surfaces with any types of deformity such as gaps or warping may cause the lock to malfunction or fail to operate entirely.
- Never apply any cleaner directly to any part of the lock. Only use clean water and mild cleaner on a soft non-abrasive cloth when cleaning.
- Potential shock warning: do not allow water or liquids to get into the lock's electric parts.
- The lock is used with the TTLock app. The lock will function without the app, but full functionality may only be achieved when the app is used.
CORE AND MAINTENANCE
- Please keep the lock away from corrosives.
- Please replace batteries when the low power alarm is activated.
- Please keep your mechanical keys in a secure place.
- Please lubricate the lock body and the cylinder from time to time to ensure smooth operation.
- Please check whether the lock is properly fastened every 6 months.
PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
- Before installing the lock, please check that all accessories are present.
- If drilling is needed, please drill according to the bore hole drawing or seek professional assistance in order to avoid unnecessary damage.
- Determine whether the handle direction of the lock is consistent with the opening direction of the door.
HOW TO DETERMINE HANDLE DIRECTION
The handle direction is determined from the secure side of the door. The term "secure" means the side from which you initially unlock and enter from outside.

4 CHANGE HANDLE DIRECTION
Follow these steps to change the handle direction:
- Use the allen key to take off the screw from the handle. (Refer to Picture 1)
- Take off the handle. (Refer to Picture 2)
- Rotate the handle 180 degrees and fix the direction that you need. (Refer to Picture 3)
- Tighten the screw. (Refer to Picture 4)

INSTALLATION STEPS
1 Adjustable bolt length and the spindle hole.
- 1.1. Installation size: Door Thickness: 1-5/16"~2" (33mm-50mm), Bore Hole Diameter: 2-1/8" (54mm), Bore Hole Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm).
- 1.2. Bolt adjustment: The bolt can be adjusted between 2-3/8" (60mm) and 2-3/4" (70mm).
- 1.3. Slide bolt into the door, Secure Bolt Screws.
- 1.4. Adjust bolt length to 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" Backset, make sure the spindle hole is squarely straight to the ground.

2 Installing the front panel
- 2.1. Slide the Lock Spindle and Wire Connector.

3 Installing the mounting plate
- 3.1. Slide the Mounting Plate and Thread the Wire Connector Through.
- 3.2. Secure the Mounting Plate.

4 Installing the back panel and batteries
- 4.1. Wire Connector Port.
- 4.2. Bend the Wire and Pass the Lock Spindle through the Hole.
- 4.3. Secure the Bottom of Back Panel.
- 4.4. Unscrew Battery Box, Secure the Top of Back Panel.
- 4.5. Install 4 AA Batteries, Secure Battery Box.

5 Install front panel handle and back panel handle
- 5.1. Loose Front Panel Handle Screw, Install the Front Panel Handle and Secure the Screw.
- 5.2. Loose Back Panel Handle Screw, Install the Back Panel Handle and Secure the Screw.

After finished the installation, please enter 123456+# key, then unlock. Make sure if the lock can work.
OPERATION BY APP VIA BLUETOOTH
1 ADD LOCK
- Download and install “TTlock" from Google Play or App Store.
- Register account with phone number or e-mail and login, then add door lock.

Note: Touch the touch screen button of the smart lock to activate lock, the number keys indicator light will be bright and click "Next" on the app.
2 UNLOCK / LOCK BY APP VIA BLUETOOTH
- Unlock by touching the lock button, it will pop up "Unlocked".
- Lock by long-pressing the lock button, it will pop up “Locked”.

3 SHARE THE APP WITH YOUR FAMILY / GUESTS (eKey)
eKey is the function that authorizes your family members and guests to unlock / lock your door with the same app.
- Download the TTlock app and register a new account on other people's phones.
- Click "Send eKey" on the app screen with the admin account (the first account to add the lock).

- Select a Timed, Permanent, One-time, or Recurring eKey, then input the recipient account and name it.
- Select duration if necessary, then click "send".
- Refresh by pulling down on the app screen on the new smart phone app, and the smart lock will show up on the app screen.
Remarks: Admin accounts can manage all guest accounts by tapping on "eKeys" in the app.
4 LOCK SOUND
The original settings for this smart lock is "Lock Sound On", but you can disable it if you want.

Note: Please keep your phone close while setting up your lock.
5 FINGERPRINT UNLOCK
- Click "Fingerprints"
- Click "Add Fingerprint"
- Select type, Named, then Click "Next"

Tips: Please don't worry. The fingerprint is only stored in the smart lock and will not be leaked. It absolutely ensures your privacy and security.
6 GENERATE PASSCODE
- Click "Generate Passcode" in the app
- Select the type and named
- Passcode generated
Unlock/lock with keypad:
- Unlock by inputting the passcode, then press the lock button "#".
- Lock by long-pressing the lock button "#".
Note: For your safety, this smart lock supports Virtual Passcode (add any digit in front of or behind the passcode. If your Passcode is 12345678, you can unlock it with 5612345678 or 1234567802.)
7 PASSAGE MODE
- In the main interface of the app, select the "Passage Mode" in the "Settings", and the date of the passage mode can be set, and the start time and end time of the passage mode can also be set.
- After the passage mode is activated, everyone can directly unlock the door without any access permission. The passage mode can be turned off by clicking again.

8 CARD INSTRUCTIONS
- Card can be used to unlock your door but cannot be used to lock it.

9 SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
TTLock Release Administrator: The phone must be operated within the range of the Bluetooth of the lock to initialize the lock and app administrator at the same time. Enter the "Settings" in the main interface of the TTLock app, click on the "Delete" at the bottom, and input the login password to successfully release the administrator.

MECHANICAL KEY INSTRUCTIONS
There are two compatible mechanical keys included. Please keep them available for backup.
- Take the cover off from front panel handle.
- Insert the keys to unlock / lock your door.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
Alarms
- Anti-theft Alarm: If someone enters the passcode or fingerprint incorrectly five times, it will sound an alarm and lock for 5 minutes.
- Low Voltage Alarm: Once the batteries are almost dead, this smart lock will send an alert. If you forget to replace the batteries before they are dead, you can use USB backup power to power it (at the bottom of keypad).
