6. Safety Instructions

Safety Recommendations

The electric scooter is a device for entertainment and not a vehicle. However, scooters can bring certain risks when riding around. For safety concern, you must read this user manual before riding it.

When riding in a public area, you must comply with all recommendations for safety. Be aware of the possibility of collision. Violating traffic rules for pedestrians or vehicles and improper operation of the device will increase the risk of injury. The higher the speed of the electric scooter, the greater the braking distance. Emergency braking may cause higher risks, especially on a slippery road. Therefore, it is necessary to be alert all the time. Please use an appropriate speed and keep a safe distance from pedestrians and other vehicles when riding your scooter.

Be cautious of pedestrians and children when riding your scooter. Reduce your speed rate and leave enough space when passing by them.

Please strictly follow state and federal road rules while riding. Violation of the above rules may result in financial expenses, personal injury, traffic accidents, legal disputes, conflict, and other unpleasant situations. The company does not assume responsibility for any direct or joint and several liability.

All others should read this user manual before you allow them to ride your electric scooter.

Please inspect your scooter carefully each time before your use. If you find shattered parts, bad battery life, broken tires, wired sounds when turning, or other abnormal symptoms, please stop use the scooter immediately and contact customer support.

7. Fold and Transportation

Folding the Scooter

To fold the scooter:

  1. Ensure the scooter is turned off.
  2. Hold the front pole, release the lock lever, and lower the steering rack.
  3. Position the steering rack horizontally and secure it by inserting a hook through a special ring located on the rear wheel mudguard.

Transportation

You can transfer the folded scooter with one hand.

8. Daily Maintenance and Storage

Cleaning and Storage

You can use a soft cloth with soap water to clean your scooter.

Warning: Do not use alcohol to wash your electric scooter or apply water under strong pressure. Make sure the scooter is turned off. After charging, ensure the charging port plug is reinserted to prevent electric shock or serious water damage.

When you do not use the scooter, store it in a dry, cool place. Leaving the device under the sun can cause rapid damage to the materials, battery, and wheels.

Maintenance of Electric Scooter Battery

  1. Always use certified batteries.
  2. Do not open the battery yourself before asking for professional advice.
  3. It is recommended to use the certified AC adapter that comes in the original package.
  4. Improper disposal of used batteries and accumulators is a cause of severe environmental pollution. Please dispose of batteries in accordance with local laws. Do not dispose of batteries together with food waste.
  5. After each use of the device, charge the battery to prolong its service life.
  6. Do not store the scooter battery in rooms with temperatures exceeding 50°C or below -20°C (e.g., do not leave the battery in cars in summertime on a hot sun), and do not leave the battery near fire. These actions can deteriorate the battery, cause overheating, and even inflammation.
  7. If the scooter is not used for 30 days, keep the device in a cool, dry place and charge the battery. You need to charge the battery every 60 days to protect its life.
  8. Avoid a full discharge of the device, as it will reduce battery life. When using the device at room temperature, the battery will provide a longer range and better performance. When you use the scooter at temperatures below 0°C, vehicle performance will be decreased.

Note: A fully charged scooter runs about 120-180 days of standby time. The battery has a smart chip that stores information about its charging-discharging. If you do not charge the battery for a long time, it can cause serious damage, making it impossible to charge the device again. This type of damage is not included in free warranty service. (Caution: Do not disassemble the device by unauthorized people, as there is a risk of electric shock or serious injury as a result of a short circuit.)
