Getting Started
Front View of Camera
The front view of the camera includes:

The bottom view shows:

The back view includes:
- Belt Hole
- Sawtooth Brackets
- Cable-Lock Hole
Mounting the Camera
When mounting the camera to a tree, use the provided strap. Avoid mounting the camera facing the rising or setting sun. If mounting to a feeder or in a dusty environment, clean the camera lens and PIR sensor regularly. Periodically check the mounting to ensure it is secure. Check batteries frequently to ensure they are providing sufficient power.
Key Information
- AIM: Camera info and setup.
- M: Enter the setup menu in preview mode.
- Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigate settings as described in the user's manual.
- OK: Save settings.
- M (again): Exchange between main screen and setup.
SD CARD (Included)
Cabela's SD Pro Memory Cards are recommended for optimal performance. These cards are fast and durable for extreme outdoor conditions. Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) PRO Cards (4GB-32GB) are compatible with Cabela's game-trail cameras. Never erase your SD card from any device other than your Cabela's game-trail camera. Formatting the card on other devices may render it unreadable by the camera.
- INSERT THE SD CARD BEFORE TURNING ON CAMERA. The camera has no internal memory.
- BE SURE WRITE-PROTECT IS UNLOCKED BEFORE INSERTING THE SD CARD.
- DO NOT TAKE OUT THE SD CARD WHEN THE CAMERA POWER IS ON.
Camera Operations
Batteries
High-density alkaline or lithium batteries are recommended. Cabela's recommends Energizer® Lithium AA batteries.
Camera Modes
- OFF mode: To turn off the camera.
- AIM mode: To program the camera.
- ON mode: When movement is detected in the monitoring region, the camera will automatically take pictures or videos based on the programmed settings. After switching to ON, the motion-indication LED (red) will blink for about 10 seconds, allowing you to position the camera for surveillance.
AIM Mode
To access the settings menu, turn the camera to AIM mode and press the Menu button (M). To return to the main screen, press the Menu button (M) again. Scroll up or down to the desired setting and select (OK). Use the Up/Down arrows to change the selection and press (OK) when finished.
Saving Images or Videos
The camera uses a standard SD memory card to save images (.JPEG format) and videos (.avi format). SD and SDHC memory cards up to 32GB are supported.
Settings Menu
To view the camera settings menu, press (M) in AIM mode. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a sub-menu, and the Left/Right arrows to select options. Press (OK) to save the setting and option. Press (M) to return.

Temperature | Select Fahrenheit or Celsius. |
Delay | Interval during which the PIR is disabled after triggering in ON mode. PIR will not react to motion during this time. Minimum interval is 3 seconds, maximum is 60 minutes. |
Format SD Card | Deletes all images and/or videos stored on the SD card. Ensure you have a backup of important data. Formatting new SD cards is highly recommended. |
