1 - CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS
Description of Controls:
- 1. LED POWER: Front LED light switch.
- 2. POWER: Power On/Off button.
- 3. MIC. VOL: Microphone volume control.
- 4. SD card input: Slot for SD cards.
- 5. GUITAR INPUT: Terminal for guitar input.
- 6. REC: Recording function button.
- 7. MIC. PRIORITY: Microphone priority function.
- 8. PREV/CH: Short press for Previous Track (Mp3 mode) or previous channel (FM mode).
- 9. LED DISPLAY: Digital display screen.
- 10. PLAY/SCAN: Short press to play/pause (Mp3 mode) or auto scan and preset frequencies (FM mode).
- 11. NEXT/CH+: Short press for Next Track (Mp3 mode) or next channel (FM mode).
- 12. MODE: Button to switch between different media modes. Long press to enable TWS function.
- 13. MIC. INPUT: Wired microphone input jack.
- 14. USB card input: Slot for USB drives.
- 15. MASTER VOLUME: Main volume control.
- 16. BASS: Bass control.
- 17. TREBLE: Treble control.
- 18. ECHO: Microphone echo effect control.
- 19. GT. VOL: Guitar volume control.
- 20. DISCO BALL: Control for disco ball lighting effect.
- 21. AUDIO INPUT: Auxiliary audio input.
- 22. DC 12V INPUT: External DC 12V power input.
- 23. AC INPUT: AC power input (110-240V 50/60Hz).
2 - REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
Remote Control Buttons:
- 1. Power On/Off: Turns the unit on or off.
- 2. Number Keypad: For direct selection of tracks or inputs.
- 3. MUTE: Mutes the audio output.
- 4. REC: Activates the recording function.
- 5. U/SD: Selects USB or SD card input source.
- 6. REP: Repeat and/or shuffle playback options.
- 7. Play/Pause: Controls playback (play or pause).
- 8. Previous Track: Skips to the previous track.
- 9. Next Track: Skips to the next track.
- 10. MODE: Switches the media input mode.
- 11. AUX: Selects the auxiliary audio input source.
- 12. FM: Selects the FM radio input source.
- 13. VOL+: Increases the volume.
- 14. VOL-: Decreases the volume.
- 15. EQ: Selects preset equalizer settings.
3 - CHARGING THE SPEAKER
- Full recharge typically takes 8-12 hours.
- Use the supplied charging cable for charging.
- The battery switch can be set to ON or OFF when the unit is plugged into an external power source.
- To maintain battery lifespan, ensure the unit is fully charged on the same day the battery depletes. Delayed charging may affect battery performance.
4 - WIRED MICROPHONE INSTRUCTIONS
- Insert the microphone plug into the MIC. INPUT jack.
- Adjust the MIC. VOL knob for desired microphone volume.
- Adjust the ECHO control for the desired echo effect.
- The microphone is now ready for use.
5 - WIRELESS CONNECTION
Connect compatible wireless devices (e.g., smartphone, computer) to play audio through the speaker.
- Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control to enter wireless mode, indicated on the LED display.
- On your device's settings, select "PBX-1212" to pair.
- A confirmation sound will be heard on the speaker upon successful pairing.
6 - TWS FUNCTION (TRUE WIRELESS STEREO)
This feature allows two identical PBX-1212 speakers to connect wirelessly for stereo sound.
- Turn on both speakers and switch them to Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Blue".
- Ensure the speakers are within 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) of each other.
- Select one speaker as the host. Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard. The slave unit's display will show "BLUE" brightly.
- On your phone or audio device, turn on Bluetooth and connect to "QFX PBX-1212". The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
- To disconnect TWS: Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds on either speaker.
PRECAUTIONS
To prevent operational problems or serious damage to the speaker unit, please follow these precautions:
- When unplugging the power cord, pull from the plug end, not the wire.
- Keep the speaker away from heat sources.
- Do not attempt to open the speaker unit or modify its circuitry, as this may cause damage or electric shock. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- If the unit will not be used for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Ensure the speaker is properly ventilated and kept in a dry location. Maintain a distance of at least 4 inches (10 cm) from walls or objects for optimal airflow.
WARNING: Do not use this speaker in wet locations, in the rain, or in areas with high moisture. Do not place liquids or other objects on the speaker, as this could cause accidental short circuits.

- ⚠ (Exclamation mark in a triangle): Alerts users to important operating and maintenance instructions.
- ⚡ (Lightning flash with arrowhead): Alerts users to the presence of uninsulated hazardous voltage within the product enclosure, which may pose a risk of electric shock.
NOTES: Do not attempt to open the back cover or power adapter. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards, and will disable restricted servicing. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
