Mounting the OrCam MyEye on glasses. OrCam MyEye magnetically attaches to a mount which is pre-installed on the glasses provided in the box. To learn how to attach a mount to another pair of glasses, visit the user area. Diagram of OrCam MyEye 2: Read or Recognize. • Look at the text you want to read or the product, banknote, barcode, or face you want OrCam to recognize. Camera • Touch the touch bar. You will hear a camera sound. LED lights • OrCam will begin reading text or recognize the product, banknote, barcode, or face. English for lanyard Read with Pointing. • Hold the text about 12 inches (30 cm) directly in front of your face. • Point at the text area you want to read, with the tip of your finger pointed up and the fingernail facing the camera. • When you hear a double beep, remove your finger from the area. • OrCam will begin reading the text and chime when done. Automatic Reading or Recognizing. • Look at the text you want to read or the product, banknote, barcode, or face you want OrCam to recognize for several seconds. • You will hear a camera sound. Then OrCam will begin reading text or recognize the product, banknote, barcode, or face. Settings Menu Options. • Customize your OrCam’s settings via the audio settings menu. To enter, hold the power button, swipe your finger along the touch bar, and then release the power button. Some settings can be altered with voice commands. For a complete list, see the user area on the OrCam website. • Automatic reading and recognition is disabled by default. Enable it via the settings menu. Learn Faces.* Set the Volume. • Stand about 3 feet (1 meter) from the person you want to learn. • To decrease volume, swipe your finger backwards on the touch bar. • Touch and hold the touch bar.
