Plug in the rf2ir dongle to an available USB port of your Set Top Box within 30 seconds.  Once paired the green LED will flash twice quickly and then stop. The remote control and the dongle are paired.  The correct function can be verified by pressing any key – green STB LED will flash once.  In case pairing failed  no  LED  will  flash  when  pressing a  key.  In  this case the above procedure should be repeated.     (2) rf remote control

Preparation: To speed up your programming process, the most used TV brands have short numbers that will be used in the programming process. Vizio - 10 Funai/Emerson - 11 Sanyo - 12 Panasonic - 13 Sharp – 14 LG – 15 Toshiba - 16 Sony - 17 Samsung – 18 Philips – 19 RCA – 20 Insignia - 21  Others - 29  Step 1: Controlling the TV with the STB remote control is only possible when the remote control is in the TV mode.  To access TV mode, press the MODE key, until the red TV light flashes.   Step 2: Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds, until the red TV light on the remote control flashes twice. Enter the 2-digit code for the brand of your TV (found above) – the red TV light will flash twice.  Now, press and hold the POWER Button until your TV switches off.  As soon as your TV switches off, remove your finger from the POWER Button and press OK to confirm – the red TV light will flash twice.  Now press the POWER button again to switch your TV back on.  Finally, press the mode button until the green light is illuminated. Now you can turn your TV and your digital box on and off simultaneously by pressing the POWER button.

If the   key is pressed when the remote is in TV mode, the TV will be switched on/off. If the   key is pressed when the remote is in AUX mode, the AUX device will be switched on/off.  Notes: o programming of AUX works same way as for TV o programming is only possible in TV and AUX mode o for programming TV mode you need to be in TV mode (red LED),  o for programming AUX mode you need to be in AUX mode (yellow LED) o in case of low battery (<2V) all three LEDs flashes for 1.5s after sending a command
