DynaDish series Quick Setup Guide and Warranty Information The Dynadish is a outdoor wireless system with a built in antenna. It can be used as a CPE or for Point to Point links. Connecting 1. Unscrew the Ethernet protector and connect your PC or LAN cable to the Ethernet port, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE injector, or a powered Switch 2. Set LAN computer IP configuration to automatic (DHCP) 3. Default IP address of the unit is 192.168.88.1, open this address in your web browser to start configuration. The username is admin and there is no password Powering The device accepts powering only from Passive PoE injectors or 802.3af PoE devices. Booting process Initial connection has to be done via the Ethernet cable. Open 192.168.88.1 in your web browser. Username is admin and there is no password. In case IP connection is not available, Winbox can be used to connect to the MAC address of the device. More information here: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/First_time_startup In case you wish to boot the device from network, for example to use MikroTik Netinstall, hold the RESET button of the device when starting it until the LED light turns off, and device will start to look for Netinstall servers. Extension Slots and Ports One 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port, supporting automatic cross/straight cable correction (Auto MDI/X), so you can use either straight or cross-over cables for connecting to other network devices. One Integrated Wireless 5GHz 802.11a/n/ac, 2x2 MIMO with built in parabolic dish antenna, max gain 24dBi Buttons and Jumpers RouterBOOT reset button (RESET, front panel) has three functions: • Hold this button during boot time until LED light starts flashing, release the button to reset RouterOS configuration (total 5 seconds) • Keep holding for 5 more seconds, LED turns solid, release now to turn on CAPs mode (total 10 seconds) • Or Keep holding the button for 5 more seconds until until LED turns off, then release it to make the RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers (total 15 seconds) Operating System Support Currently tested operating system is MikroTik RouterOS starting from version v6.20 Copyright and Warranty information Copyright MikroTikls SIA. To return failed units to MikroTik, you must perform the following RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) procedure. If you have purchased your product from a MikroTik Reseller, please contact the Reseller company regarding all warranty and repair issues, the following instructions apply ONLY if you purchased your equipment directly from MikroTik in Latvia. 2. MikroTik does not offer repairs for products that are not covered by warranty. Exceptions can be made for: CCR1016-12G, CCR1016-12G-BU, CCR1036-12G-4S, RB1100, RB1100AH, RB1100AHx2, RB1200, RB600, RB600A and RB800 as a paid service (fees apply). 3. Out-of-warranty devices and devices not covered by warranty sent to Mikrotik will be returned to the sender at sender's cost. If the customer has not organized return of such rejected devices within 12 months from the day of arrival, MikroTik has the right to discard them. IMPORTANT: Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation. 27 cm minimum distance has to be maintained between the antenna and the occupational user and 60 cm to general public. Under such configuration, the FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an population/uncontrolled environment can be satisfied. Antenna Installation. WARNING: It is installer's responsibility to ensure that when using the authorized antennas in the United States (or where FCC rules apply); only those antennas certified with the product are used. The use of any antenna other than those certified with the product is expressly forbidden in accordance to FCC rules CFR47 part 15.204. The installer should configure the output power level of antennas, according to country regulations and per antenna type. Professional installation is required of equipment with connectors to ensure compliance with health and safety issues.
