Remove all packaging from the Ball Speaker. Place the packaging inside the box to either store or dispose of safely. Description of Parts Hanging Ribbon Speaker USB Charging Port ON/OFF Switch Hanging Hook LED Indicator Bluetooth Antenna (Do not fold or cut) Important: Bluetooth Antenna is an extremely important component to stream wireless music. Any damage to it will deteriorate streaming & sound quality, significantly. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Charging Instructions The speaker is built in with rechargeable battery. Please charge the battery fully, before its first use. Insert the USB end of the charging cable (included) to a computer USB port or USB wall charger, and the Micro USB end to the charging port located on the back of the speaker. LED light turns red while the speaker is being charged. It takes around 2 hours for the speaker to charge fully. When the battery is fully charged the red LED light turns off. When the battery is low, please recharge the speaker. Turning On/Off the speaker There is an on/off switch at the back of the speaker. You can turn the speaker on/off by pressing this switch. In order to save power, turn the speaker off, when not in use. Playing Music from your Bluetooth Devices: Turn on the speaker. Place the speaker and Bluetooth device (phone or music device) not more than 3 feet apart from each other. Activate the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device (phone or music device). Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for instructions on enabling Bluetooth on your device. Once you have activated Bluetooth on your device, select the speaker “SL Holiday Tunes” from the list of available Bluetooth devices. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm pairing. Once paired successfully, blue LED flashes every second. You can play music from your paired device (phone or music device) through the speaker. If pairing is unsuccessful, turn off the speaker and then re-pair following the above steps. Once speaker has been paired with your mobile phone etc, it will automatically pair with it, the next time your device is in proximity with the speaker. Hence above steps are likely to be followed only while pairing with a device for the first time. Function Summary Listening to Music Once the speaker is paired with your device you can stream music wirelessly through the speaker. Select the track you wish to listen to and it will be streamed to your Bluetooth speaker. Adjust the sound volume from your device. Should you encounter any problems while streaming please refer your device’s user manual for further information. Media paused on source. Play media from source. Bluetooth Disconnected Turn OFF and then turn ON the Speaker; after about 30 seconds. Keep your Bluetooth Speaker and Bluetooth enabled device within 3 feet of each other during the pairing process. After a successful pairing, the Blue LED indicator light will flash every one second. Care and Maintenance Read the following recommendations before using the speaker. Following these you will be able to enjoy the product for many years. Do not expose the speaker to liquid, moisture or humidity to avoid the product’s internal circuit being affected. Don’t use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the speaker. Do not expose the speaker to extremely high or low temperature as this will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts. Don’t dispose of the speaker in a fire as it will result in an explosion. Don’t expose the speaker to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches and damage. Don’t let the speaker fall on the floor. The internal circuit might get damaged. Don’t attempt to disassemble the speaker as it may get damaged if you are not professional. In case the speaker doesn’t function properly, send it to the store you bought it. The staff will help you to the problem. This device is measured RF output power is less than the SAR exclusion threshold value for human head and body . Therefore, SAR test is not necessary.
