    4iiii Innovations Inc  228 River Ave. Cochrane, Alberta Canada T4C 2C1  800.218.3095  Fax 403.800.3097  www.4iiii.com     Viiiiva User Manual  Instructions for Use What’s in the Box:  How to Use   Wet the electrodes (the smooth rubber-like surfaces located at either end of the elastic strap).   Undo one snap and wrap the strap around your chest.   Wear the monitor centered at your breastbone with the logo right side up.   Adjust the strap for a snug, comfortable fit.   Viiiiva will automatically turn on when worn (and automatically turn off a few minutes after removal). Pairing with ANT+ Displays (such as Garmin/Timex/Adidas watch/computer) Your Viiiiva heart rate monitor has a unique device ID that allows it to be paired to a ANT+ display device. Please refer to the display device’s instructions for pairing, as these operations are unique to each device. Pairing with Bluetooth Smart Display (such as iPhone/iPod) Your Viiiiva heart rate monitor has a unique device ID that allows it to be paired to a Bluetooth Smart display device. Please refer to the display device’s instructions for pairing, as these operations are unique to each device. Pairing with ANT+ Sensors (such as foot pod, bike speed/cadence, power meters) The Liiiink Communication Module in Viiiiva acts as a bridge so that your ANT+ sensor data can be transmitted to Bluetooth Smart devices.  After Viiiiva is paired with a Bluetooth Smart device, refer to your app instructions for pairing to Bluetooth sensors.  Maintenance and Care   Replacing the Battery: Use a coin to remove the cover on the back of the heart rate monitor to reveal the battery (CR2032).  Be careful not to damage rubber seal when reassembling.   Cleaning: For best results, rinse strap with water after each use, and hand wash strap in cold water with a mild detergent after every 6 uses.
