ASUS Mobile Dock

Charging your device
Ensure to fully charge your ASUS Mobile Dock before using it in
battery mode for extended periods. Remember that the power
adapter charges your ASUS Mobile Dock as long as it is plugged
into an AC power source. Be aware that it takes much longer to
charge the ASUS Mobile Dock when it is in use.
IMPORTANT! Do not leave the ASUS Mobile Dock connected
to the power supply once it is fully charged. ASUS Mobile Dock
is not designed to be left connected to the power supply for
extended periods of time.
Airplane precautions
Contact your airline provider to learn about related in-ight
services that can be used and restrictions that must be followed
when using your ASUS Mobile Dock in-ight.
IMPORTANT! You can send your ASUS Mobile Dock through
x-ray machines (used on items placed on conveyor belts), but do
not expose them to magnetic detectors and wands.
Safety precautions
This ASUS Mobile Dock should only be used in environments
with ambient temperatures between 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F).
Long time exposure to extremely high or low temperature
may quickly deplete and shorten the battery life. To ensure the
battery’s optimal performance, ensure that it is exposed within
the recommended environment temperature.

Using your ASUS Mobile Dock
Charging your ASUS Mobile Dock
To charge your ASUS Mobile Dock:
Connect the micro USB cable to the power adapter.
Plug the micro USB connector into your ASUS Mobile
Dock.
Plug the power adapter into a grounded power outlet.
Charge your ASUS Mobile Dock for four (4) hours
before using it in battery mode for the rst time.
IMPORTANT!
• UseonlythepoweradapterandmicroUSBcableofZenPad
10 to charge your ASUS Mobile Dock. Using a dierent power
adapter may damage your ASUS Mobile Dock.
• Peeltheprotectivelmofromthepoweradapterandmicro
USB cable before charging the ASUS Mobile Dock to prevent
risk or injury.
• Ensurethatyouplugthepoweradaptertothecorrectpower
outlet with the correct input rating. The output voltage of this
adapter is DC 5.2V, 1.35A.
• WhenusingyourASUSMobileDockwhileplugged-intoa
power outlet, the grounded power outlet must be near the
unit and easily accessible.
• DonotplaceobjectsontopofyourASUSMobileDock.
NOTES:
• ChargingthroughtheUSBportofacomputermaytake
longer time to complete.
• Ifyourcomputerdoesnotprovideenoughpowerfor
charging your ASUS Mobile Dock, charge your ASUS Mobile
Dock via the grounded power outlet instead.
Pairing your ASUS Tablet
IMPORTANT! Enable the Bluetooth function on your display
device to pair it with your ASUS Mobile Dock.
To pair your ASUS Tablet with the ASUS Mobile Dock:
Slide the switch all the way to the right and hold until
DA01-SPK and DA01-KB appear in your Tablet.
Select both DA01-SPK and DA01-KB to successfully pair
your Tablet with the ASUS Mobil Dock.
To disconnect the Bluetooth speaker/keyboard:
Slide the switch to O to disable the connection of both
speaker and keyboard.
Under Settings in your Tablet, disable the connection of
either speaker or keyboard.
Docking your ASUS Tablet
To dock your ASUS Tablet:
Put your ASUS Mobile Dock on a at and stable surface.
Align your ASUS Tablet with the ASUS Mobile Dock.
Firmly insert your ASUS Tablet into the hinge.
IMPORTANT! Always pick up the entire assembly from the
bottom when your ASUS Tablet is attached to the ASUS Mobile
Dock.
Press <Fn> and the arrow keys to scroll up and down or scroll to
the start and end of a document or web page.

functions and some must be used with the function key <Fn>.
NOTE: The placement of the special keys on the Mobile Dock
may vary with country or region, but their functions remain the
same.

To undock your ASUS Tablet:
Put the entire assembly on a at and stable surface.
Lift your ASUS Tablet from the bottom left corner to
detach it from the ASUS Mobile Dock.
