ASUS Mobile Dock Charging your device Your ASUS Mobile Dock Using your ASUS Mobile Dock Ensure to fully charge your ASUS Mobile Dock before using it in battery mode for extended periods. Remember that the power adapter charges your ASUS Mobile Dock as long as it is plugged into an AC power source. Be aware that it takes much longer to charge the ASUS Mobile Dock when it is in use. IMPORTANT! You can send your ASUS Mobile Dock through x-ray machines (used on items placed on conveyor belts), but do not expose them to magnetic detectors and wands. Safety precautions Connect the micro USB cable to the power adapter. Keyboard Plug the micro USB connector into your ASUS Mobile Dock. NOTE: Pair up with ZenPad 10 to experience the best audio quality available from DTS HD Premium Sound. This ASUS Mobile Dock should only be used in environments with ambient temperatures between 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F). Long time exposure to extremely high or low temperature may quickly deplete and shorten the battery life. To ensure the battery’s optimal performance, ensure that it is exposed within the recommended environment temperature. NOTE: The input voltage of your ASUS Mobile Dock is DC 5.2V, 1.35A, 7W. Charge your ASUS Mobile Dock for four (4) hours before using it in battery mode for the first time. • When using your ASUS Mobile Dock while plugged-in to a power outlet, the grounded power outlet must be near the unit and easily accessible. • Do not place objects on top of your ASUS Mobile Dock. NOTES: • Charging through the USB port of a computer may take longer time to complete. • If your computer does not provide enough power for charging your ASUS Mobile Dock, charge your ASUS Mobile Dock via the grounded power outlet instead. Mutes the speaker. The special keys on your ASUS Mobile Dock have standalone functions and some must be used with the function key. • Use only the power adapter and micro USB cable of ZenPad 10 to charge your ASUS Mobile Dock. Using a different power adapter may damage your ASUS Mobile Dock. • Ensure that you plug the power adapter to the correct power outlet with the correct input rating. NOTE: The placement of the special keys on the Mobile Dock may vary with country or region, but their functions remain the same. • Peel the protective film off from the power adapter and micro USB cable before charging the ASUS Mobile Dock to prevent risk or injury. Audio speakers IMPORTANT! Do not leave the ASUS Mobile Dock connected to the power supply once it is fully charged. ASUS Mobile Dock is not designed to be left connected to the power supply for extended periods of time. IMPORTANT! Increases the speaker volume. Launches the Settings screen. Returns to the previous page. Deletes texts. PgUp IMPORTANT! Enable the Bluetooth function on your display device to pair it with your ASUS Mobile Dock. Activates sleep mode. Fn Home PgUp PgDp PgDp End End Returns to Home Screen. Toggles the internal wireless LAN ON or OFF. To pair your ASUS Tablet with the ASUS Mobile Dock: Fn Slide the switch all the way to the right and hold until DA01-SPK and DA01-KB appear in your Tablet. Select both DA01-SPK and DA01-KB to successfully pair your Tablet with the ASUS Mobil Dock. To disconnect the Bluetooth speaker/keyboard: Slide the switch to Off to disable the connection of both speaker and keyboard. Under Settings in your Tablet, disable the connection of either speaker or keyboard. Home PgUp Activates the properties menu and is equivalent to or on the screen. Decreases the display brightness. To dock your ASUS Tablet: Fn Home Increases the display brightness. Put your ASUS Mobile Dock on a flat and stable surface. PgDp End PgUp PgUp Fn Home PgUp Fn Captures the screen image. Align your ASUS Tablet with the ASUS Mobile Dock. PgUp Home PgDp PgDp End End Fn Firmly insert your ASUS Tablet into the hinge. Fn Returns to the previous track when playing music. Home Fn IMPORTANT! Always pick up the entire assembly from the bottom when your ASUS Tablet is attached to the ASUS Mobile Dock. PgDp Home End Starts playing music from your playlist. Resumes or pauses the current playback. PgUp Fn NOTE: This port is for charging only, not for data transfer. Fn Home PgUp Fast forwards or skips to the next track during playback. Home PgUp PgDp PgDp End Fn PgUp Home PgDp End PgUp PgDp End Press and the arrow keys to scroll up and down or scroll to the start and end of a document or web page.
