1 5 . 1”LCD Panel Adopted -Adopted the 15.1”LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Panel which allows you efficient use in a small space due to the slim design.A Dynamic Convenient Design-Uses a specially manufactured hinge (ATEC System patent) to adjust the screen freely up and down, left to right, and back  and forth. This function is provided with thoughtful consideration to the user’s convenience.Plug & Play Function-The Plug & Play function is available, freeing the user from having to reboot or set up the system during operation.-The user  does not  have to  adjust the monitor  to computer  connection, as optimal screen  settings are  automatically provided  through the  DDC (Display Data Channel) system.Power Consumption Economy Function- The  VESA  DPMS  (Display  Power  Management  Signaling)  function  is available to reduce power consumption by automatically  switching the computer into the power saving mode if the system  doesn’t operate for a fixed period of  time.AUDIO Function- A speaker  is embedded   so that the   user can hear   sound without separate s p e a k e r s .E M I / E M S- This  equipment   has been   registered  through  compatability   tests with electromagnetic  waves,   and can   therefore  be   used everywhere   including residential districts.O P T I O N- Software pivoting to the vertical  size of A4 paper is available,  making Word work easier. - USB 4Port can be embedded to use the USB without an external Hub.

Please insert the two pins of theplug completely so that the power  supply unit can be connected tightly.Unsafe power connections may cause a fire.Please be careful to keep thepanel from being scratched ordamaged  when you transportthe monitor.The panel may be damaged, causing a failure. D o n’t set up the equipment in ahumid environment (such asbathroom, rainy or windy area,e t c ) .Accidents of electric shock, fire or failure may occur.Please stop using in case  of  smoke or abnormal  odors.Immediately switch off the power,  and pull  out the  power cord  fromthe  wall. Contact   the service center.Continuity of use in such a state may cause a fire or electric shock.D o n’t sprinkle water directly onany part of the monitor body. Never touch the power plug withwet hands.An electric shock accident may occur. D o n’t use a power cord or plug that is damaged or has a loose connection. An electric shock or ignition may be caused. Please note that air-flow holesmust not be blocked by a tablecloth or curtain.A fire may becaused due to an increase in internal tempe-r a t u r e .D o n’t set up the equipment  on anunsupported shelf or  angledsurface. nor on an area subject toserious vibration.Fall or displacement of the equipment may cause an injury.Please set up the monitor at aproper distance (over 10 cm)away from the wall for sufficient ventilation.A fire may be caused due to an increase in internal tempe-r a t u r e .Please grasp the power plug  at thebase to  remove it from the  wall,and pull firmly but gently. If you  yank at  the cord the wire  may be broken, causing ignition or heat generation.Wa rn i n g
D o n ’t put pressure  upon the  panelor  score the  surface with  yourhands or sharp items (nails, pencils,pens, etc). Damage or failure of the panel may be caused.When you move the monitor, takehold  of it with both hands setting thepanel forward.If  you  drop  the  monitor,  contact  the  service  center   to check it for   a susceptibility to fire or electric shock.You must switch the power off andpull the  power cord out beforemoving the monitor. You shouldalso check as to whether externalconnection cords - such as theconnection cords between compo-nent parts - are all pulled outbefore them o v e m e n t .A damaged cord may cause a fire or electric shock.Pull the power cord out when themonitor is not used for a longtime, or  while you are away.A dust covering may  cause an electric shock,  electric leakage, or fire  by heat generation, ignition, and insulation degradation.D o n’t set  the  monitor in   a narrowplace   with poor  ventilation suchas  a bookcaseA fire may be caused due to an increase in internal temperature. When you clean the panelsurface, pull the power cord  outfirst, and wipe the surface with aclean, dry and soft cloth. No signal messageIf the  signal input   cablebetween the   monitor andcomputer   isn’t correctly connected, this message will be  displayed on the screen. For  more information, pleaserefer to ‘T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g’. Attention for the use of 110VIf a consumer, lives in a districtwhere the 220V power supplyis unavailable, a 110V adaptercan  be used. Purchase  a stan-dard product  rated above 15Aand 250V with   the mark  of“K S ”or  “C h u n ”(in Korean) ina sales  agency specializing inelectric parts.  Using a non-standard product  may  causean electric shock accident.How do I connect with the IBM computer ?How do I connect the computer cables?Ensure that the computer, monitor  and peripheral equipment power is turned off. Connect signal cables with the D-sub signal input connector  and the monitor signal input connector respectively.Connect one DC  power jack of DC  power supply unit  to the 12V terminal, and the other to the power cord. Next connect the power cord to the concent. Used to select  an icon  to be   adjusted  or the  AUTO func-  tion from  the OSD screen.AUTO FunctionIf you select  the SELECTbutton  before using  theOSD menu,  the screen is automatically adjusted  tothe   optimal display stateapplicable  to the  current mode, while the followingmessage appears.If you don’t  like the  autoadjustment, you  have tomanually adjust the  H/V Position, Clock, and  Phase of  the OSD  menus. How to Select and Adjust the OSD(On Screen Display) ScreenUse the OSD adjustable buttons on the front of the monitor to set/adjust tothe best screen and operating environment.Press the MENU buttonwhich displays the OSD menu screen. Select the icon you  desire by pressing  the UP/ DOWN button. Then  press the SELECT button. Adjust the screen with the UP/DOWN buttons.Save the adjustment by pressing the SELECT button. The OSD menu screen disappears after pressing the MENU button.If you have to adjust the screen, please adhere to the following procedure.

How to Select and Adjust the OSD (On Screen Display)To adjust the horizontal size of the screen or focus the phase? Adjusts the horizontal size ofthe screen by increasing / dec-reasing the number of pixels.Please adjust the display to theFull Screen size.Brings the phase into focus. This function   is used  if noise   or overlapped  letters trouble  nor-mal screen functions. Troubleshooting. Please read beforenotifying our repair officers of a failurePlease check  the below  particulars before   you contact the  service centerto notify an abnormality of the monitor.This symptom can be discoveredThe screen doesn’t show anything.Take these respective actionsCheck these pointsIs the monitor power cord insert-ed ? Is the power turned off ?Is the power turned on with thepower pilot lamp lit green?Is the power turned on with thepower pilot lamp lit orange ?Is the message “Out Of Range”shown ?Is the message “No Signal”s h o w n ?Please connect the power cordcorrectly to the concent.Please press the power button. Please adjust the brightness (     )and contrast (      )again. The monitor is in the power savingmode. Please  therefore move themouse or press any key on thekeyboard. The frequency of PC (Video Card)is out of range (i.e.,  horizontal:31-60KHz, vertical: 56-75KHz).Please therefore see [ProductSpecification] in  this guide to reset it in conformity with monitors p e c i f i c a t i o n s .The  signal cable  isn’t connectedbetween PC  and monitor,  or ismissing. Please check andconnect it properly.

Please read beforenotifying our repair officers of a failureTake these actionsCheck these pointsThis symptom can be discoveredHas a discoloration (into 16colors) of the screen occurred?Is the screen color unstable ordoes it seem to be a singlec o l o r ?Do you see a spot on thes c r e e n ?Set the number of colors to more than 256 colors. On the Windows95/98, perform the followingprocess    [Control Panel] -> [Display] ->[Setting] -> [Color  Table] -> [256Colors] -> [OK]Check the connection of  thesignal cable,  and correct it  ifanyabnormality  is found.If youselected “C o m p o s i t e”for themonitor input   signal during   thePC operation,  the  screen  maybe  seem  abnormal.  In  such  acase,  you  are recommended toselect “S e p a r a t e”which is thedefault option.You may see a few spots (in red,green, white, and black) on thescreen during the operation.Occurrence of  such a phenome-non is  not  a  failure  but  a charac-teristic of the LCD panel, andtherefore has no relation to theperformance of the monitor. The color of the screen is not normal
Troubleshooting. Please read beforenotifying our repair officers of a failureThe screen is under a biastoward one side, or is notcentrally positioned.A faint letter is  shown, or thephase  is out of  focus. Noiseis also  generated horizontally. These symptoms can be discoveredIs the positional adjustmentmade correctly?   Is the phase adjustment madep r o p e r l y ?Is the screen set in the beststate? Selecting the  SELECT buttonautomatically adjusts  the screenin the  best state applicable to thecurrent mode. If you are not satisfied with theauto adjustment, you can directlyadjust the H Position  (HorizontalPosition),  V Position (VerticalPosition),   and  Clock (HorizontalSize) of the OSD menus. Selecting  the SELECT   buttonautomatically adjusts   the screenin   to the optimal state applicableto the current mode. If you are not satisfied with theauto adjustment,  you may manu-ally adjust the Phase (Focus) ofthe OSD menus. While you are using this productin the mode of 1024X768 and60Hz, the best condition  of  thescreen is available.  In  the  modeof   VGA(640x480) orSVGA(800x600), the outline of aletter may be seen dimly oru n e v e n l y .Take these actionsCheck these points
