2  INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this system!  This 2.4GHz stereo wireless headphone system offers you advances in wireless transmission technology so that you can listen to ultra stereo sound from your audio components upto 50 meters.  The transmitter is compatible to any audio sources, say DVD player, CD player, i-pod, MP3, TV set, VCR, Hi-Fi system or radio.  FEATURES 1. 2.4GHz FHSS Digital technology. 2. 3    INSTALLATION  TRANSMITTER                     1.  Connect the mains adapter provided to an electrical outlet. 2.  Connect the mains adapter to the DC IN input connector located on the transmitter rear panel. 3.  Use the audio cable attached with the transmitter to connect audio outputs on audio sources like TV set, Hi-Fi system, ipods, VCR or radio-cassette player.  4. Turn the switch to ON and the Green LED indicator will light up. The Blue LED indicator will light up when audio source is on.  If the Blue indicator led remains off, switch on the audio source and increase its output level until the Blue indicator light comes on. 4  HEADPHONE RECEIVER  Press the Power button on the right hand side Headphone ‘cup’for 3seconds to turn the wireless function on - the Blue LED light will flash. The headphones are now linked up (paired*) with the Dongle and the Blue LED light will be on continuously.  OPERATIONS  To start up this system and enjoy the music, please take following steps: 1.  Connect the power adapter between the transmitter and wall outlet., the LED on the transmitter will light up in green. 2.  Connect the transmitter with your audio source, turn the source ON, the LED will turn from Green to Blue. 3.  Turn on the headphone receiver by pressing ON/OFF switch, LED will then be Blue flashes. 4.  If the LED on the headphone is OFF immediately, please put the headphone back to the transmitter for recharging. 5.  When the audio link is established, LEDs turns to Blue  and music comes out. 6. 5   NOTE: If the LED on headphone remains in Blue flashes and does not work, start Pairing process by pressing the Pair button for 3 seconds on the transmitter and the headphone simutaneously until the Blue LEDs flash. The LEDs will change to solid Blue when pairing process is finished. To both protect the transmitter and save power, the transmitter will automatically switch off after approximately 4 minutes if there is no audio signal, or the signal that it receives from the audio source is too weak for proper reception.  If however the signal returns to an acceptable level, then the transmitter will automatically switch back on. 6  CHARGING THE BATTERIES  1.  Switch OFF the receiver headphone. 2. To recharge the headphone batteries, place the headphone on the transmitter, taking care to ensure that the charge contacts touch the transmitter's charge pins and  the LED on the headphone will light up in red when charging is finished the headphone LED will be green. 3. Be sure to charge new batteries for 12 hours before using them for the first time in the headphones. 7   Wired Headphone Application The headphone can be applied in corded mode. Simply connect the headphone and the audio source by the supplied 1.5 meters audio cable. You will then enjoy the audio in wired mode.                         WARNINGS:  **  Never use another type of battery or non-rechargeable batteries to replace the rechargeable batteries. When the headphones are not in use, switch OFF the headphones to avoid damaging the batteries. **  The batteries must be fully charged before first use. An initial  5 hours charge is required to guarantee an acceptable service life for the rechargeable batteries. Always ensure that the headphones are switched to the OFF position while the batteries are charging. **  Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.  Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. 8   Battery warning: Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Safety warning: Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.  a. Do not dispose of electrical products in the general waste and ensure the used product or batteries are disposed safely according to your local authority and regulations. b. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus c. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus d. No replaceable parts inside, repair work should be carried out by manufacturer or authorized agent e. Warning: Listening at high volumes from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. When replacing the batteries or when disposing of the unit, always comply with applicable laws relating to the disposal of batteries. 10  TROUBLESHOOTING  NO SOUND - Ensure that the mains adapter is pushed fully into the power outlet and that its cable is properly connected to the DC IN 6V connector on the transmitter. - Ensure that the headphones On/Off switch is switched to the On - The headphones battery charge level may be too low. Recharge the batteries or replace them with fully charged batteries. - Ensure that your DVD, TV set, Hi-Fi system or audio component is switched on and set to a channel that broadcasts an audio signal. - Use the headphones volume control to increase the sound level (only when use as a wireless headphone). - The audio signal input level is too low. Increase the volume from the audio source of Hi-Fi, CD, or TV, etc. - The connected audio/video equipment may not be in playback mode. Start playback on by the equipment. - The headphones output level is set too low. Adjust the volume to a suitable level.  DISTORTION - Restart the Pairing process. Press the “Pair” button 3sec on the transmitter and the headphone. The process is finished when both LEDs are in Blue. - The headphone’s batteries charge level may be too low. Recharge the batteries  - Ensure that the volume knob setting is correct. - The headphones may be too far away from the transmitter. Move closer to it.  - The audio signal input level is too low.
