   AU802C User’s Manual  1.  Installation: Connect AP to PC with Cross Over Ethernet cable. Connect 5V 1.6A power adapter to the AP. You can see all LEDs are turn on.  2.  Configuration: Setting Ethernet card IP address with 192.168.1.X, subnet mask with 255.255.255.0, restart machine if asked to do so.   3.  AP setting: Open a internet explore, such as Netscape or Internet explore, enter URL http://192.168.1.240  ,Then you can see a pop up window with user name and password. Enter nothing and click OK to continue. Then you enter into setting web page. Here you can set AP’s parameter, go to wireless icon, set SSID and wireless channel. For 802.11g AP, channel should be 2.4G channel 1 to channel 14.  4.  Connect with a Client: In order to be associated with the AP, one client should have same SSID, and select Access Point as communication mode. Also Set client IP Address and subnet mask as 192.168.1.X, subnet mask with 255.255.255.0. Client can automatically search for a near by AP to get connected.
