Spray liquids onto a cloth, then use the damp cloth to clean the screen. Use water or household glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleansers.Press SCREENScreen lock timer (30 seconds)

To keep the battery from discharg-ing during shipment and storage, the thermostat is shipped with a plastic tab inserted in the battery holder. This tab must be removed during installation. Simply pull the plastic tab out of the battery tray. Make sure that the battery tray is fully inserted into the thermostat.Remove tab. M32429

Most problems can be corrected quickly and easily.Display is blank • Checkcircuitbreakerandresetifnecessary.• Makesurepowerswitchatheating&coolingsystemison.• Makesurefurnacedoorisclosedsecurely.No response to key presses (or temperature will not change)• Checktomakesurethethermostatisnotlocked(seepage17).• Makesureheatingandcoolingtemperaturesaresettoacceptableranges:• Heat:40°to90°F(4.5°to32°C)• Cool:50°to99°F(10°to37°C)Backlight is dim • IfthermostatisACpowered,adimdisplayisnormal.Thebacklightremains on at a low level, and brightens when a key is pressed.Thermostat shows the calendar screen (year, date, & month) when the power is restored• Thisindicatesthatthecoincellbatteryhasdrainedout.Replacethecoin cell battery immediately.In case of difficulty
