Flood/Freeze SensorThe FS-101’ s is designed to detect pooling water as it makescontact across the gold probes on the bottom of theFlood/Freeze Sensor. It also detects the potential of freezingtemperatures that could cause water pipes to burst.Adding Sensor to the PanelTo add a FS-101 to the panel, set your panel to sensorlearning mode, tamper the sensor by pressing the test buttonfound on the bottom of the sensor.PlacementPlace FS-101 anywhere you wish to detect a flood or freezingtemperatures. Common locations include: behind a toilet;under a sink, dishwasher, or fridge; behind a washing machine;near a water heater; or in a basement.TestingTo test a FS-101 go to test mode on your panel. Press theTest/Tamper button on the bottom of the Flood/FreezeSensor and hold it for at least 2 seconds. A signal will be sentto the Panel to notify you the Flood/Freeze Sensor has testedsuccessfully.Battery Installation/ReplacementTo change the Flood/Freeze Sensor battery, remove therubber feet on the bottom of the Flood/Freeze Sensor thenremove the screws and casing. The Flood/Freeze Sensorrequires one CR2450 battery. Be sure to have the + side of thebattery facing you.
