Normally use in the GROUND position, but if a hum develops due to a ground loop, switch to the "GROUND LIFT" side. Turn the receiver (ATW-R3210) power on. • Display lights and the main screen appears. ATW-R3201 1. Press the control dial. • The main menu is displayed. 2. Set the operating frequency. 3. Turn the transmitter (ATW-T3201/ATW-T3202) power on. • The indicator lights and the main screen appears. ATW-T3201 4. ATW-T3202 2. Turn the control dial to select the item you wish to set. 3. Pressing the control dial opens the settings menu of the selected item. • Press the BACK button to go back one screen. Check the RF level indicator. • To cancel part way through making a setting, press the BACK button. • Check that antenna A or B lights up. 5. • While in the setting mode, the display will return to the main screen if 60 seconds pass without a button or the control dial being used. Speak into the mic. • Make sure the AF level indicator lights up. ATW-T3201/ATW-T3202 1. Press the SET button. • The main screen mode is displayed. ATW-T3201 2. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Frequency] and then press the control dial. 2. Select [Manual] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial and set the first 3 digits. finished setting them, press the control dial. 4. Alphabetical characters (upper case) Numbers Symbols (+, -, #, &, period) Space 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Name] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to display the character you wish to set and then press the control dial. • The character is input and the cursor moves to the right. Turn the control dial and set the last 3 digits. finished setting them, press the control dial. • The setting is complete. 3. Enter all the desired characters in the same way as in step (2). 4. Turn the control dial to select [End] and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. Setting by group/channel 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Frequency] and then press the control dial. 2. Select [Gr/Ch] and then press the control dial. 3. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Audio] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial and set the audio output level. Setting transmitters via IR sync This function allows you to make transmitter settings on the product and then automatically configure the transmitter via IR sync. Setting items and setting values are shown as follows. Item • The level changes 2dB +/- each time you turn the control dial. • It can be set from -60 to 0 dB. Scanning for free channel From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Group Scan] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial and set the group. After selecting the group, press jet control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select the scanning sensitivity. After selecting the scanning sensitivity, press jet control dial. Confirm the scan result, turn the control dial to select [OK] and then press the control dial. • Select [Retry] to rescan. 5. OFF, ON, No change From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [TX Setting] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select each item and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select the setting value and then press the control dial. 4. Turn the control dial to select [Scan Start] and then press the control dial. • A standby screen is displayed. Set this function to prevent the product settings from being changed. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Squelch] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Auto] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [Normal]/[Range]/[Rubust] and then press the control dial. • The default setting is [OFF]. • The scan starts. 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Lock] and then press the control dial. 3. Select the key lock and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. 4. The scan result is displayed. Press jet control dial. • The setting is complete. Setting the antenna power This turns power on/off to the antenna input terminals • The default setting is [OFF]. • If set to [ON], power is supplied to both antennas A and B. Setting manually 1. 2. 3. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [Squelch] and then press the control dial. Turn the control dial to select [Manual] and then press the control dial. Turn the control dial to select the value you wish to set. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [ANT PWR] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [ON]/[OFF] and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. • The meter indicates the RF level. • You can set it from 11 dBμV 35 dBμV. 4. 1. Press jet control dial. • The setting is complete. 17 Setting group/channel editing Setting frequency back-up 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Gr/Ch Edit] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Back-Up Ch] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select the group and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [ON] and then press the control dial. 4. Turn the control dial to select the channel and then press the control dial. 4. Turn the control dial to select [Manual]/[Gr/Ch] and then press the control dial. • When [Manual] is selected, the frequency can be set. • When [Gr/Ch] is selected, the group/channel can be set. 5. Turn the control dial to select [SET]/[RESET] and then press the control dial. • Press [SET] to set the frequency of the selected channel. • Press [RESET] to blank the frequency of the selected channel. 6. After setting all the channels, select [SET]/[Sync] and press the control dial. 5. • When selecting [SET], the setting is complete. • When selecting [Sync], IR sync standby is displayed after the setting is complete. Turn the control dial to select [SET]/[Sync] and then press the control dial. • When selecting [SET], the setting is complete. • When selecting [Sync], IR sync standby is displayed after the setting is complete. Setting main screen layout 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Main Display] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [Frequency Mode]/[Name Mode]/ [Gr/Ch Mode] and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. 18 Setting main screen level mater Resetting factory defaults 1. This returns the settings to their factory defaults. 2. 3. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. Turn the control dial to select [AT Meter] and then press the control dial. Turn the control dial to select [RX]/[TX] and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Reset] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [Yes] and then press the control dial. 4. After the confirmation screen is displayed, turn the control dial again to select [Yes] and press the control dial. Setting display brightness 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Brightness] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [Hight]/[Low] and then press the control dial. • Reset starts. • The setting is complete. Checking the product information This function displays product information. Setting user access level 1. From the main menu, turn the control dial, select [System] and then press the control dial. 2. Turn the control dial to select [Access] and then press the control dial. 3. Turn the control dial to select [Free Tuning]/[User Group Only] and then press the control dial. • The setting is complete. 19 1. Use that to attach the product to a belt, pocket or other piece of clothing that will hold it.
