Your FOFA Keyfob requires only 3simple steps to begin using it:1. Insert the battery.2. Program the FOFA.3. Attach FOFA to an item.1. Insert the BatteryYour FOFA Keyfob comes with oneCR2032 type battery. To install thebattery:• Open the battery compartment onthe back• Insert the battery with the “+”(positive) side up.• Close the battery compartmentIf you just inserted the battery, you are already insetup mode. To enter the setup mode at any othertime, press and hold the 1 and 3 buttonssimultaneously for about 3 seconds. The FOFAKeyfob is in setup mode when the LED flashescontinuously and a warble beep is emitted.To set:• Press the button (1 thru 6) to program the SET#.The FOFA Keyfob will beep and the LED willflash more quickly.• Press the button (1 thru 6) to program the ITEM#.The FOFA Keyfob will beep to confirm your settings.The FOFA Keyfob beeps the number correspondingto the SET # and then, after a brief pause, beeps thenumber of times corresponding to the ITEM #.To program FOFA Keyfob as Set 2, Item 5, forexample, you would:• Press 2. This programs the SET number to 2. TheLED flashes quickly.• Press 5. This programs the ITEM number to 5. TheFOFA Keyfob beeps and flashes 2 times, pauses,and then beeps 5 times to confirm the setting.Important Notes:Removing the battery will cause your FOFA Keyfobto lose its setting. You will need to reprogram it usingthe steps above.If you do not program the FOFA Keyfob, it willrespond to every key press from another FOFA unit.However, the unprogrammed FOFA Keyfob will entersetup mode when you press any button on it.3. Attaching the FOFAEach FOFA Keyfob includes a key ring. In addition, aplastic lanyard and doublesided tape can also be usedto attach FOFA Keyfob to any object that you couldlose.Using the FOFA Keyfob to Find Lost ItemsTo find an object with a missing FOFA Keyfobattached, simply locate one of your other FOFAKeyfobs and press the key corresponding to themissing unit in that set. If the object is in range, theFOFA Keyfob on the missing object will begin toflash and beep. You can use any FOFA Keyfob tolocate any other FOFA Keyfob; hence the name, FindOne, Find All!To find a missing item in another set of FOFAs, youwill need to reprogram one of your FOFA Keyfobs tothat set. Please see Programming your FOFA Keyfob.For best results, hold the FOFA Keyfob with the LEDpointing away from you. Walk around while trying tofind the item you’re looking for while repeatedlypressing the appropriate button on the FOFA Keyfob.Reduce or eliminate noises so you can hear thebeeping FOFA Keyfob you are looking for.Keep the FOFA Keyfob away from large metalobjects and other radios sources that might reduce itsrange, as do weak batteries also.Checking Your SetupYou can verify the SET and ITEM numbers of eachFOFA Keyfob at any time. Press and hold the 5 and 6keys simultaneously, then release. The LED flashesand beeps first to indicate the SET number, pauses,and then flashes and beeps to indicate the ITEMnumber. For example, if the FOFA Keyfob you arechecking is defined as SET 1, ITEM 2, you wouldhear 1 beep, a pause, then 2 more beeps.Find One Find All (FOFA) Keyfob, Model K24945 P 1/2FOFA K24945 1-2 FOFA K24945 2-2Find One Find All (FOFA) Keyfob, Model K24945 P 2/2The FOFA Keyfob will beep and immediately go intosetup mode. The LED will begin flashing to indicatethat the FOFA Keyfob is ready to be programmed.Please see step 2, Programming your FOFA Keyfob.2. Programming your FOFA KeyfobFOFA locators are expandable to 36 unique locators.How is this possible with only 6 buttons? You have 6sets of 6 items. This gives you the flexibility tocustomize your FOFA locators so that each person inthe family has a different set of FOFA’s.To set the FOFA Keyfob, you must first decide on the“SET” number and the “ITEM” number of eachFOFA. Most first-time users select SET 1 and ITEMS1-6.+Care Instructions- Do not allow FOFA to become wet. Wipe dryimmediately if it gets wet.- FOFA may be wiped with a damp cloth to clean.- Handle FOFA with care.
