Axxess Industries Inc. INSTALLATION AND OPERATIONS MANUAL Guest Room Masters Models GRM-ZB-C4-4-x, GRM-ZB-LX-4-x and GRM-ZB-QT-4-x (whereby x denotes product color) The above-noted models of Guest Room Masters are part of Axxess Industries Inc.’s Ready Maid System. These Guest Room Master models provide self-explanatory switch buttons allowing a hotel guest to select preference selections such as Do Not Disturb and Make-Up-Room. They also include a doorbell module. Installation: 1) 2) 3) 4) Connect low voltage power (12V-24V) to terminals P1 and P2 (polarity is irrelevant) by inserting solid core wires into the P1 P2 terminals. Connect wire harness to slave indicator panel by plugging in the RJ45 plug of the Wire Harness into the RJ45 jack on the back of the Guest Room Master; Mount Guest Room Master in 1 gang position of a standard electrical box with 2 6-32 screws (supplied); mount switch cover (not supplied) For optional ZigBee wireless communications follow the instructions by the manufacturer of the network controller to join the Guest Room Master to the applicable ZigBee network. Operation: 1) For Do Not Disturb indication press the (DND) switch button labeled “Do Not Disturb” or “Privacy” , or other words to that effect; 2) For housekeeping request press the (HK) switch button labeled “Housekeeping” or “Make-Up-Room”, or other words to that effect; rd rd 3) For optional 3 button functionality, such as Master On/Off press the 3 button labeled accordingly; 4) For Room Ready for Inspection indication press and hold the DND and HK switch button for approx 2 sec, until the green LED associated with the HK button start blinking. 5) The turn any one indication off, press the same button again. 6) The set an alternative selection simply press the new selection. The former selection will turn off automatically. "This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
