Actual use
Making a call
1. Making a call
After entering the telephone number, press the MFB(Multi Function Button)
briey.
2. Last number redial
Press and hold the MFB for 1 second to activate last number redial.
(Some handset will show the list of calls.)
3. Voice dialing
Briey press the MFB to activated 'voice command'.
Tip Your handset must support the ‘voice dial’ function.
Answering a call
Briey press the MFB(Multi Function Button) to answer an incoming call.
Ending a call
Briey press the MFB(Multi Function Button) or handset end key.

Before using the BHF-100
The BHF-100 is a wireless hands-free Car Kit using Bluetooth technology.
This Product can be used as audio accessory for devices supporting either
the headset and hands-free Bluetooth proles.
Bluetooth is a trademark owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and is used by
the manufacturer under its lincense term.

NOTE
In order for all the functions of the BHF-100 to be available,
pair the BHF-100 in the handsfree mode. Paired in headset
mode some functions are restricted.
4. Using your handset, nd the ‘Bluetooth menu’ and ‘search for’ or
‘add’ new device.

The Blue LED indicator blinks 2 times
every 5 seconds.
NOTE
Installing in car
To install the BHF-100 in your car, rst place the metal visor clip onto
the back of the BHF-100, then secure Alpine DCS-BT1 to the sun visor
in your car as shown below.
Volume control
While on a call briey press the MFB(Multi Function Button) for transferring
the audio to the headset.
Transferring a call

Briey press the volume + or volume - button to adjust the speaker volume.
Answer a second call without hanging up the rst call by pressing
the MFB(Multi Function Button) for 1 second.
Call waiting
Tip This function is not available in the headset mode.
Tip Pressing too long may cause turning o the headset.
Using the BHF-100
Charging
The BHF-100 is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery pack.
You must charge the battery fully before using the BHF-100 for the rst time.

When the battery is nearly depleted in either active or stand by mode,
① BHF-100 will make a beep sound three times every 30 seconds and
② the Red LED light will ash twice every 4 seconds.

4. When charging is complete, the Red LED lihgt will turn o.
It takes about 3hours to charge a fully depleted battery of BHF-100.
1. Plug the Mini USB 5pin connector of the charging cable into the charging
port located on the side of BHF-100.
3. While charging the Red LED light will turn on.
2. Charge BHF-100 through;
① Personal computer USB port
You can charge BHF-100 directly from your PC or MAC by plugging the
USB end of the charging cable into a USB port in your personal computer.
② Cigar jack USB adapter (An optional item)
Plug the cigar jack of the adapter into a car outlet.

Auto Reconnect
When the BHF-100 and your handset are separated by a distance of
33 feet(10meters) or more, the BHF-100 will operate in “stand-by” mode.
at the moment when the distance between BHF-100 and the mobile phone
is above the operation range(33feets). 1. CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
2. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine,
re or the like.
