Press the power but ton for 2– 3 seconds to turn your BRV-X XL /2 on or of f. 2. Toggle Bluetooth ® on in your device set tings. For fur ther instruction on how to do so, please refer to the user manual included with your mobile device. 3. Your speaker will automatically enter pairing mode when powered on. Pair a second device by pressing and holding the Bluetooth ® but ton for 2– 3 seconds until you hear the audio cue. Go to your device’s Bluetooth ® set tings and select “BRV-X XL /2” from the list. Your BR AVEN will remember the last 8 devices it has paired with. NOTE: If your BR AVEN is lef t on with an inactive Bluetooth ® connection for 2 hours, it will automatically power of f. Power your BR AVEN on again by pressing and holding the power but ton for 2– 3 seconds. VOL U ME & P L AY BAC K C ON T ROL Increase volume by quick pressing the “+” but ton, or decrease volume by quick pressing the “–” but ton. An audio cue will indicate when you’ve reached max volume. Skip to the nex t track by long pressing the “+” but ton, or play the previous track by long pressing the “–” but ton. USING T HE BR AV EN T E A M MODE A P P Download the BRAVEN TEAM MODE app from Google Play or the App Store to customize your listening experience. ENGLISH CH A RGING YOUR BR AV EN Before using your BRV-X XL /2 for the first time, fully charge your speaker until the bat ter y indicator light stays solid green. Charge your BRV-X XL /2 by inser ting the power adapter into a wall outlet. Nex t, plug the other end of the power cable into the charging por t on the back of the speaker. MONITORING BAT TERY LE VEL : Use the Bat ter y Status LED to monitor your speaker ’s bat ter y level. Red = 0 –15%, Yellow = 16 – 4 0%, Blinking Green = 41% – 9 9%, Solid Green = 10 0% CH A RGING E X T E R N A L DE V IC E S Your BR AVEN can charge most USB-enabled smar tphones and tablets using the 0.3A–2.4A full-size USB por t. To use ex ternal charging: 1. Turn your BR AVEN on. 2. Plug your USB power cable into the USB por t on the back of your BR AVEN. 3. Inser t the other end of the cable into your device to immediately begin charging. SP E A K E R P HONE Press the play but ton on your BR AVEN to answer and end calls over the speakerphone. WAT E R P R O O F F E AT U R E S The BRV-X XL /2 is IPX5 waterproof cer tified, designed to withstand rainfall, waterjets or splashing. IMPORTANT: Ensure your BRV-X XL /2 is prepared for use in a wet environment by removing all cable connections and tightly sealing the por t cover. If the cover is not securely fastened, your BR AVEN may sustain water damage. ENGLISH USING BROA DC A S T PA IR ING Broadcast pairing (or Team Mode) allows you to wirelessly pair up to 10 0 BRV-X XL /2 speakers. Follow the steps below to manually pair multiple BRV-X XL /2 units together: 1. Turn on all speakers 2. Bluetooth ® pair first speaker (Primar y Speaker) 1. Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth ® is turned on. 2. Long press the Bluetooth ® but ton on the speaker. 3. Voice will say “Bluetooth ® pairing”. 4. Select “BRV-X XL /2” on your device. 5. You will hear “Bluetooth ® connected”. 3. Begin Broadcast Pairing 1. On Primar y Speaker, long press the broadcast but ton until you hear “broadcast primar y pairing”. 4. Continue Broadcast Pairing 1. On the Secondar y Speaker, double press the broadcast but ton until you hear “broadcast secondar y pairing”. 2. Then, you will hear both Primar y and Secondar y Speakers say “broadcast pairing connected”. 3. Repeat points 1 and 2 within step 4 for each additional speaker. 5. Enjoy Your Tunes 1. The distance bet ween your device and the Primar y Speaker will work up to 20 0 feet in a direct line of sight. 2. Secondar y Speakers stem of f of the Primar y Speaker and will optimally work bet ween 5 0 – 6 0 feet. R E SE T T ING YOUR BR AV EN Reset your BRV-X XL /2 to its original factor y set tings by pressing the reset but ton under the back cover for 8 –10 seconds. ENGLISH V O L U M E / B A S S / T R E BL E C ON T R O L With your BRV-X XL /2 powered on, quick press the power button to toggle bet ween Volume, Treble and Bass modes. A corresponding LED will indicate which mode you are on. Press the “+” to increase the volume / bass / treble level. Press the “-” to decrease the volume / bass / treble level. ENGLISH
