Programming Electronic Limit Roller Shade Motors
One Channel Remote
Instructions
Handsender Layout
INPUT INDICATOR
(LED)
For the following commands, the motor must be placed into either “Pairing Mode” or
“Programming Mode”.
Pairing Mode
OPEN
To Enter Pairing Mode, disconnect power to the motor for 3-5 seconds, then reconnect. Alternate
method: If handsender is already Paired, then hold STOP for approximately 5 seconds. Note that the
motor will stay in Pairing Mode for 2 minutes. The motor will time out on it’s own, and you do not
need to save and exit from Pairing Mode.
STOP
CLOSE
Expected Response:
Pair Handsender to Motor / Learn Channel
Motor must be in Pairing Mode
Hold Open and Close.
Fn
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Motor will now work on this channel.
Delete Channel from Motor
Motor must be in Pairing Mode
Hold Stop and Open.
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Motor will no longer respond to this channel.
Delete All Channels
Motor must be in Pairing Mode
Hold Stop and Close.
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Motor will no longer respond to any channel.
Programming Mode
To enter Programming Mode, press and hold FN+STOP for approximately 5 seconds (until motor jogs). Note that all of these settings can be
made without exiting from Programming Mode after each change (they can all be done in the same session). Programming mode lasts for 2
minutes. If you do not exit and save before the 2 minutes has expired, the motor will exit programming mode and cancel all changes.
Reverse Motor Direction
Motor must be in Programming Mode
Hold Open and Close. Wait for motor to
jog, then...
continue with other programming options or
hold Stop to save and exit.
Expected Response:
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
Touch Control On/Off (Tumo Drapery Motor Only) Expected Response:
Motor must be in Programming Mode
Hold Fn and CLOSE to turn Touch Control off
or...
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Touch Control is now OFF.
- The handsender will give a fast blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Travel direction is now reversed.
Hold Fn and OPEN to turn Touch Control on,
then...
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Touch Control is now ON.
- Shade will move to desired open
position.
continue with other programming options
or hold Stop to save and exit.
- The handsender will give a fast blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Settings are saved
- Motor has left programming mode.
Set Limits
Motor must be in Programming Mode
Hold Open to move shade to desired open
position, then...
hold Fn and OPEN to set upper limit, then...
hold Close to move shade to desired close
position, then...
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Upper limit is now set.
- Shade will move to desired close position.
hold Fn and CLOSE to set lower limit, then...
- The handsender will give a slow blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Lower limit is now set.
continue with other programming options
or hold Stop to save and exit.
- The handsender will give a fast blink.
- After 3-5 seconds, the motor will jog.
- Limits are now set.
- Motor has left programming mode.
