Synchronizing headset with MP3 module

Recharge Connector
• Make sure the headset is at least 1 meter (3.2’) from the MP3 player.
• Press the MP3 player button. The LED light should start flashing quickly.
• Press simultaneously on « + » and « - » until you hear a single beep in
the headset.
• After a few seconds, a two-beep audible signal (beep-beep) will sound.
• The headset is now synchronized with the MP3 player.
Turning on the headset
Hold down the “+” key for about 3 seconds until you hear a three-beep audible
signal (beep-beep-beep). After a few seconds, the headset will detect the MP3
player signal and you will hear two beeps. If music is playing, you will hear it.
“+” and “-” keys
If the bathtub is not turned on, the headset will not detect the MP3
player and it will automatically power off.

Operating the MP3 player

Manual headset shutdown
The MP3 player is equipped with a light-emitting diode (LED) screen
that indicates the MP3 status:
Hold down the “–” key to turn down the volume. Release and press again
until you hear three beeps in the headset.
LED flashing quickly
The MP3 player is trying to synch
with a headset.
LED flashing slowly
The MP3 player is synched with a headset.
LED stays lit
The speakers are turned on and
the headset is off.
Use the provided charger to recharge the headset. Plug the charger into the
connector located inside the headset. A two-beep audible signal indicates
that the headset is recharging. At the end of the charging cycle, you will hear
three beeps. The headset will then shut off automatically.
LED is off
The bathtub is off.
Do not use headset when recharging.

Adjusting the volume
Using an SD card (not included)
Press the “+” key to raise the headset volume or “–” to lower the volume.
Your system is compatible with MP3 and WMA music formats.
Automatic headset shutdown
To download relaxing music from a computer, use a portable SD memory
card. Insert the SD card into the appropriate reader on your computer.
You may need an SD card adapter for certain computers.
The headset automatically shuts off when the MP3 player is turned off
(i.e., when the bathtub is turned off).

Organizing music
THE BAINULTRA® LIMITED WARRANTY
The music must be organized by folder on the card (e.g., by artist or type of
music). Only one folder level can be used. The MP3 player will not recognize
files if they are filed in more than one folder level.
WARNING: Do not use the headset at temperatures above 45°C.
Optional Accessories
To round out your Euphonia™ system, you can add an SD card to listen
to your own musical selections in MP3 or WMA format. You may need an
SD card reader to connect the card to your computer.
You will need a 3.5 mm (1/8”) male-male jack to connect external
audio peripherals.
These accessories are available at electronic supply stores.
EUPHONIA™: 5 YEARS
LIMITED WARRANTY
This limited warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the unit
under warranty and is valid only when bought through and registered by an
authorized BainUltra® retailer. BainUltra® products are designed for residential
use only. BainUltra® products used for commercial or display applications
will be limited to a two (2) year warranty against defaults in materials and
workmanship regardless of the various defective components of the products.
BainUltra® products sold outside of North America will be limited to a
parts-only warranty through the dealer of the sale. Our service department
will help diagnose the problem and will provide parts only for repairs or
replacements covered by the warranty. All parts will be shipped to the dealer
in North America. BainUltra® will not be responsible for cost of shipping or
servicing outside of North America.
The Euphonia system™ offers a warranty on its MP3 player for a five (5)
year period, and, on its headset for a one (1) year period, from the original
purchase date.

EXCLUSIONS
The above-stated limited warranty applies as long as damage is not caused
by an accident, abuse, misuse, fire, insects, use of abrasive products, force
majeure or an act of God. Transport, handling or installation damages are
also excluded. Any part that must be changed during the warranty period
will be covered by the original warranty or for a two-(2) year period following
replacement, according to the first contingency.
This warranty is also void if your Euphonia system™ or part thereof has
been modified or if any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than
BainUltra Inc., an authorized dealer or representative of BainUltra Inc. Any
and all components that are not provided by BainUltra Inc., as well as any
items attached or installed on your Euphonia system™ after the date of
manufacture are expressly excluded from this limited warranty.
The warranty is void if the unit is installed outdoors, or has not been installed
in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and/or in compliance with
local codes and ordinances.
