Overview
The F8Z492 is a class 2 Bluetooth V2.1+EDR music receiver.
It allows you enjoy music that is streamed from your portable player device or
Bluetooth enabled notebook/ PC to your stereo speaker.

Quick Start Guide
Bluetooth Music Receiver (F8Z492)
Installation
1. Connect one end of an audio cable to Earphone Jack in Bluetooth Music Receiver and
another end to your Stereo System.
2. Power on the Bluetooth Music Receiver.
a. Connect the power adapter into Bluetooth Music Receiver power jack.
b. The LED light will flash (light on and then off ) one time to indicate the unit is
powered.
c. It is ready for mobile phone* to link to it now.
3. Go to Bluetooth manager of your mobile phone, i.e. iPhone to find the Bluetooth Music
Receiver.
a. Search Bluetooth audio device and find Bluetooth Music Receiver.
b. Select the found Receiver and enter pin code “0000” to add the Bluetooth Music
Receiver into the paired list of mobile phone.
c. The LED light will turn on and off gradually one time.
4. Select Bluetooth Music Receiver in the paired list of mobile phone.
a. Confirm to connect it.
b. The LED light will be constantly ON to indicate that the link is OK.
5. Play the music in mobile phone and you can listen to music from your Stereo System.
If Out of Range
1. If you walk away and out of range the LED light will turn off gradually to indicate
that it is out of range and no more signals are received.
2. If you walk back within 15 seconds it will link again automatically and the LED light
will turn on gradually.
3. If it is over 15 seconds you need to re-do step 4 in Installation to link to it again.

New mobile phone
If you want to connect new mobile phone with Bluetooth Receiver, make sure that the unit
is not in use and then do the step 3 in Installation.
