IPod Audio Transmitter Quick Guide Product shape Connecting my iPod Audio Transmitter 1. Turn on your Bluetooth Receiver device. The device which the iPod transmitter is to connect. ie. Bluetooth Receiver or Stereo headset. 2. Plug the iPod transmitter into the headphone connector 3. Power on your iPod and press PLAY on the iPod. The iPod transmitter will power on automatically. The iPod transmitter should enter pairing mode indicated by the Red and Blue flashing alternately. 4. Enjoy! *Note: This device will only work with Bluetooth receiver devices that has “0000” or “1234” as PIN code. iPod Audio Transmitter LED Indicator Mode LED Indicator Idle None Searching Pairing mode In connection last device Red and Blue Red and Blue flash Blue flash twice steady alternately every 3 seconds Operating Procedures 1. Upon power on, the iPod transmitter will try and connect to the last paired device for 10 seconds. If the last paired device is not found, then iPod transmitter will automatically enter pairing mode. 2. Upon disconnection, the iPod transmitter will try to reconnect to the last paired device. If the last paired device is not found, then iPod transmitter will automatically enter idle mode. To power on the iPod transmitter, please remove the iPod transmitter and plug into the iPod again. 3. During pairing mode, if devices are not found within 3 minutes, the iPod transmitter enters idle mode. To power on the iPod transmitter, please remove the iPod transmitter and plug into the iPod again. Troubleshooting IPod Transmitter is not powered on when plugged into the iPod. Remove the Transmitter and reinstall into the top of your iPod. Ensure your iPod is charged and powered on. After connecting the Transmitter, there is no sound. Make sure your iPod is powered on and set to play There is more than one Bluetooth Receiver device in the same room or range. The Bluetooth iPod transmitter will pair with the Bluetooth receiver that was turned on first or is the closet in proximity to the transmitter. If you are paired with the incorrect receiver, turn off the power on the receiver that will not be used FCC Caution 1. The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1)This device may not cause harmful interference. (2)This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 2. This Transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. 3. Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
