Withthe "tabs" on upper hoserack pointing toward top of handle,attach upper hose rack to handleassembly by sliding it to top of handleuntil it can go no further. Turnhoserack until it snaps into place. 3. 2. Slidehandleassemblydown into upperbody until it willgo nofurther andsecurewithscrew. 4. Attach lower hoserack to back of upper body by pushing into open slots andsliding down until it snapsinto place. 5. Wrap flex hosearound hoserack and secure it into notchedout holderas shown. 6. TurnpowerswitchOFERemove t_e2-in-1water tankfromthebaseusingthetankcarryhandle. Carrythetanklikea buckettoa u'dlity sinkor outsidewhereyouwill disposeoflhecolleddon water.Removethetopoflhetank byrotalingthe handleforwardfounlatchlidandlirdnglidoff tank. 2. Emptycollectionwater from bottomof tank. 3. After each use, removeand rinsethe lint screen locatedon the tank lid. 4, Ifnozzleneedsfo bedeaned:removebygrasping handleatlhefopandpullingforward.Clean removable nozzle byrinsingunderrunningwater. 5, Whenfinished,replacenozzlebyslightly raisingfront of machineto lineup slotson the basewiththe hookson nozzle.Attachat base first andthenclick nozzleinto place. NOTE:If nozzleis notattachedproperlyloss ofsuctionwill occur. 6. Tocontinuecarpetcleaning,refer back to pages7 through 8, beginningwith "Fill the 2-in-1 water tank" on page 7. 1. t 3. Important!If usingthe machineto clean upholstery, checkupholsterytags. 1. Checkmanufacturer'stag beforecleaning. "W" or "WS" on the tag means you can use your PowerSteamer.If the tag is coded with "X" or "S" (with a diagonalstrike through), or says"Dry Clean Only,"do not proceed.Do not use on velvet or silk. If manufacturer's tag is missing or not coded,check with your furniture dealer. 2. Checkforcolorfas_essin an inconspicuous place. 3. If possible,check upholsterystuffing. Slowlymovethe tool backandforlhoverme soiledsurface.Release thetriggerto su_on dirtywater.Con'dnue toclean inme area,workingin smallsections,un'dldirt is removed. CauUon:Do Not Overwet. 10. Whenfinishedcleaning, removeand rinse tool(s)in clean,runningwater. 12. 11. It is recommendedthat you suctionclean water from a bowlto rinseout the hose. 12. Beforewrappinghoseonto tool rack, lift end of hoseandstretch out to ensureall water is clearedfrom hose. 13. Wrapflex hosearoundtool rack. 14. Empty2-in-1 water tank andrinse out, following instructionson page 9. 15. If the ReadyToolsdial becomesdifficult to turn, the diverterassemblythat holdsthe dial may needto be cleaned.Toclean,first removenozzleand locatescrew that holds the diverterassemblyin place.With a Phillips screwdriver,removethe screw andset aside. 16. Removediverterassembly;hold under runningwater makingsurewaterflows throughandaroundthe dial.Turnthe dialabout 10 times clockwiseand 10 moretimes counter clockwise.This shouldfreeup any debris. NOTE:Priorto fillingwith formulaand water,besureall carpetcleaningformulais thoroughlyrinsedfromtank. Fill BISSELL2X HardFloorSolutionsFormula to the indicatedfill line in the built in measuringcup and pour into mouthof bladder. Fill the bladderwith clean hot tap waterand set aside. Attachthe hard floor tool to the bottom of the machineby hooking it into the nozzle and swinging it down until it clicks into place. 5. Be sure the ReadyToolsdial is set to FLOORCLEANING. 6. Plug into an outlet and turn the power ON. 7. Plan your cleaningrouteto leave an exit path. Be sure to allow adequatetime for floors to dry. 8. While pressingthe spray trigger,make one slow forward wet passand another back. Caution: DoNot Overwet. 9. Repeatthe motion without pressingthe trigger usingthe hard floor tool to squeegee and suction up the dirty water. 10. Any loose hairor debriscan be pulledfrom the brush roll andthrown away. 5. Tocleanattachments,removefrom hoseand rinsein clean,runningwater.Drybeforestoring.
