7Using the Remote Control6 720 606 990control (Fig. 7, pos. 3) pressed for 3seconds.Fig. 7 Memorising water temperatureBOnly one temperature can bememorized using the "Program"button on the remote control.BAt this point the remote control willdisplay the memorized temperature .When the hot water tap is turned on,the water heater will supply hotwater at the temperature memorizedon the remote control. If the temperature was memorizedusing remote control buttons (it ispossible to combine up to six remotecontrols), it can only be modified whilsthot water is flowing if the same remotecontrol is used again (see chapter 4.6"Priority Function").Using the "Program" button(operation with memorizedtemperature)To operate the equipment with apreviously memorized temperature:BPress the "Program" button on theremote control. The remote control display or controlpanel will now show the previouslymemorized temperature. When the hotwater tap is turned on, the water heaterwill supply hot water after a fewseconds, at the memorizedtemperature.iApart from thetemperature that can bememorized using the"Program" button on thecontrol panel, a secondtemperature can bememorized on eachremote control using the"Program" button, tomeet the needs of eachuser.
8Using the Remote Control6 720 606 9904.6 "Priority" functionThe equipment does not have a defaulttemperature setting and therefore hasno default "Priority" function. The"priority" will be attributedautomatically by the first user whoselects or memorises (on the remotecontrol or on the control panel) atemperature for subsequent use (e.g. ashower). Then, when the hot water is used (e.g.for a shower), the control panel displayand remote control/s display will showthe symbol " ".The temperature may only be modifiedusing the same buttons thatmemorized it (depending on whetherthe control panel or the remote controlwas used). The "Priority" function ends:•5 minutes after the last use of thehot water (return to basic set up).•2 minutes after selecting/memorizing the temperature if no hotwater is used immediatelyafterwards.Acquiring "priority”Any user can acquire "priority" forsubsequent use of hot water, asfollows:BMove main switch to position I.BKeep button or button pressed.BSelect the required temperature.BPress the "Program" button for 3seconds to memorize thetemperature, if required.BUse the hot water within twominutes of acquiring "priority.4.7 Error MessagesThis device has an error messagesystem. Any anomalies will beiTemperature cannot bememorized or selectedusing the control panelbuttons or even asecond remote controlwhen hot water is in use(e.g. during a shower)since the "Priority"function willautomatically start up tostop another usermodifying thetemperature when hotwater is in use.i"Priority" cannot beacquired whilst the hotwater tap is open.
9Maintenance6 720 606 990indicated by an error code that willappear on the display (Fig. 2, pos. 1)and by a symbol indicating a "safetyblock" (Fig. 2, pos. 7). The device willbe operative once again following theelimination of the fault and afterpressing the reset button. To identify the type of anomaly, consultchapter 5 of the installation manual.5 Maintenance5.1 Replacing batteriesWhen batteries are flat, the symbol(Fig. 2, pos. 5) will appear on thedisplay.BRemove the two screws on the backof the remote control.BOpen the battery housing andremove the flat batteries, thenreplace with new batteries, ensuringthey are inserted correctly.BClose the battery housing using thetwo screws.5.2 CleaningUse a damp cloth to clean parts of theremote control. No abrasive or solvent-based detergents are needed.iCertify that the rubberseal is correctly fittedbetween both plastichousing parts.Warning: flat bat-teries must bereplaced.Consequently, themanufacturer is notliable for any faults ordamage caused byflat batteries.Do not create litterwith flat batteries:ensure they aredisposed of in thespecific refuse con-tainers.
