Introduction
It happens to all of us. You jump in your car, hurry off, and miles later, “Oh
No! I forgot my cell phone!” Now you’ve lost your lifeline. You can’t make
a call, get text messages, or even hear your voicemails - never mind using
GPS, contact lists, or special apps. It can be an embarrassing, expensive,
or even dangerous mistake.
Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. Put your phone
into Bluetooth discovery mode and select the option to search for
new devices. Bringrr will appear in the list of available Bluetooth
devices. Select Bringrr and the option to pair with it. If your phone
asks for a passkey, enter 0000.
Bringrr lives in your car’s cigarette lighter. When you start your car, Bringrr
senses that your car has started and immediately employs Bluetooth to
look for the signal from your phone. If your phone isn’t in the car, it sounds
an alert and the Bringrr light goes from blue to red.
It’s that simple. Set it up once by pairing it with your phone and it’s good
to go. Now you can relax and forget about forgetting your cell phone.

Setup & Pairing
To get started, plug Bringrr into your car’s power port (cigarette
lighter) and start your car.
Note: Some cars are equipped with power ports that are always
on, while others turn on and off with the car’s engine. If your car’s
power port is always on, the Bringrr light will flash when plugged
in. If your car’s power port is not an always-on, Bringrr will not light
up until the car is started. In general, the operation of Bringrr will
be the same regardless of which type of power port you have.
Once your phone is paired, Bringrr will beep. A few seconds later
it will produce it’s “positive” beep and the light will turn solid blue
indicating that it still “sees” the phone with which it paired. As
long as your phone is in your car, the light will remain blue.
Press and hold the button on the side of your Bringrr until you hear
a beep.
Your phone is now successfully paired to Bringrr.
Bringrr will now go into “pairing mode” and the light will flash red
and blue.
Note: If, for some reason Bringrr is not able to pair with your phone,
you can restart the pairing process by pulling Bringrr out of the socket
and re-inserting. Be sure the car is still running, then simply press
and hold the Bringrr button again until you hear the beep and see
the flashing of the red and blue light - this means you are back in
pairing mode.
Once you have paired, your phone may prompt you to “connect” with
Bringrr. If this occurs, select “no”. (Unlike a hands-free unit, Bringrr
does not need to be connected to work.) Some phones will say
Bringrr is “not connected” or “disconnected”. You don’t need to do
anything in these cases as it is okay for Bringrr to be unconnected.

Using Bringrr Day to Day
You should leave Bringrr in your power port all the time, meaning
it will be at your service at the beginning of each trip. There is no
need to ever turn it on - it will be always be ready to do its job. Just
start your car and Bringrr will go to work, looking for your phone.
If your phone was found at the start of yourand
trip,Bringrr
stops detecting your phone, the Bringrr alert will sound only once,
and the Bringrr light will flash red.
After you start your car, Bringrr’s blue light will begin flashing.
This means Bringrr is doing its “start-up” search, looking for your
phone.
Bringrr could lose your phone signal if:
If Bringrr finds your phone: It will sound its positive beep and
the blue light will stop flashing and remain solid blue for the rest of
your trip. If you wish to turn off the solid blue light for the remainder
of your trip, simply press the Bringrr button once.
If your phone was not found at the start of your trip
and Bringrr subsequently detects it, Bringrr
will sound the positive beep and the light will change from r
red to blue.
If Bringrr cannot find your phone:It will sound an alert “bring”
three times and the blue light will change to flashing red.
After the alert, the red light will stop flashing and remain on solid
red for the rest of your trip. If you wish to turn off the solid red
light for the remainder of your trip, simply press the Bringrr button
once.
Note: If your car engine has been off for less than 5 minutes when
you restart it, and you have an always-on power port, Bringrr will
not perform its “start-up” search when you restart the engine. This
scenario might occur, for example, if you stopped for coffee. Once
your trip starts (see below) Bringrr will perform a continuing series
of “in-transit” searches and will quickly tell you if you don’t have
your phone. You just won’t hear the positive tone if you do have
your phone. It’s a minor issue for sure, but we thought you might
want to know, particularly if you missed the friendly positive beep
after a quick stop.
During Your Trip
Bringrr could detect your phone during a trip if:
You have now arrived at your destination. Your phone should be
at your side. And you should be relaxed and ready for action not
having worried about your phone along the way.
Note: If your car has an always-on power port, the Bringrr
light will remain on for approximately five minutes before
it shuts off. This will NOT drain your car’s battery.
Bringrr will continue to monitor your phone during your entire
trip using its in-transit search algorithm. This will be particularly
valuable if your phone runs down its battery during the trip.
