Summary As this equipment, GPS-Cradle for PMP is low power and one way transmission device, it can be used without license. The equipment emits a radio frequency out of 3 channels 88.1MHz, 88.5MHz and 88.9MHz to hear audio sound through FM radio. Built-in GPS receiver provides GPS data to PMP or other display equipment to enjoy navigation system. 2. Composition Full package of the equipment consists of Cradle, Window suction holder, Cigar plug, Spare fuse and Instruction manual. 3. Appearances 1. GPS receiver GPS receiver is inside cradle. 2. Channel switch You can select a RF channel out of 3 channels. 3. Volume Round volume to control audio level of speakers built in the Cradle. 4. Power indicator It’s lit on when DC power is supplied. 5. I/O Jack(24pin) It connects between Cradle and PMP. 6. DC Jack In-put power jack for DC12V-24V. 7. Window suction holder You can mount the holder at surface of window to install the cradle. 8. NAVI KEY To be used for Navigation mode. 9. DMB KEY To be used for DMB mode. 10. MOVIE KEY To be used for Movie mode. 4. How to use This cradle provides GPS data to PMP for navigation system, and stereo sound through 2 built-in speakers and you can control sound level by using volume built in. FMT function allows you to enjoy more dynamic sound through car-speakers. Once you put PMP in the cradle, the battery of PMP is charged. You can adjust position of cradle by using universal window suction holder. Installation and Operating 1. Mount of window suction holder Fit window suction holder to four holes of back side the cradle. Put DC plug to DC jack back side of cardle. Mount window suction holder to surface of window after removing vinyl wrap. 2. Installation of PMP Put PMP into the cradle. 3. Fixing Radio Frequency Match cradle and radio channel as follows, Cradle : Radio Frequency CH 1 : 88.100MHz / CH 2 : 88.500MHz / CH 3 : 88.900MHz 4. Power On / Off Power on when cigar plug is plugged in. Power off when cigar plug is withdrawn or car-key is turned off. 5. Volume control Audio sound of built in speakers can be controlled by volume. 5. Troubleshooting 1) Cradle doesn’t work. . Check power source (connections and polarity). . Check fuse. . Check power indicator. 2) FMT doesn’t work. . Check channel settings on both cradle and car radio. . Check position of volume. . Check power plugs. . Check power indicator. 3) Precaution . It can be effected by circumstance and weather. . Do not dispose at wet place. . Do not disassemble or make modifications. . Use correct accessories. * Do not try to disassemble and fix by yourself but contact regional service center. Note. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
