• Weight: The weight of a person’s body.
• Body Fat Percentage: Body Fat Percentage refers to the total amount of fat contained in a body.
• Skeletal Muscle Mass: Skeletal Muscle Mass refers to the total weight of muscles that supports a
body’s movement and heartbeat.
• Total Body Water: Total Body Water (TBW) refers to the amount of water contained in a body.
• BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) refers to the minimum level of energy required to support a
body’s basic function while at rest.
• Bone Mass: Bone Mass refers to the weight of minerals contained in a body.
• BMI: Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated as (weight / height²). Since the BMI cannot determine
the amount of body fat contained in a body, the Fat Free Mass Index (FFMI) is usually used to
determine the fat-free mass. The Fat Free Mass Index (FFMI) refers to the amount of non-body fat
weight in a body by taking your muscle mass into account and is calculated as [weight (kg)*
(100% – body fat rate)] / height² (m).
