1. INTRODUCTIONModel G6V2. PROGRAM A VISOR REMOTE TO THE GTR SMART BUTTONTM4. REMOVE THE REMOTE CONTROL FROM THE SMART BUTTONTMUniversal Visor Transmitter 3. TROUBLE SHOOTINGQ: Door opener does not react after pressing the button on the transmitter?A: - Ensure the button on the transmitter is pressed, the red light on thetransmitter comes on. Otherwise, check if the battery is insertedproperly.- Ensure the wires that are previous connected to the wall mounteddoor control are not loose.- Ensure the remote control has been programmed to the SmartButtonTM. Refer to section 2 for how to program a transmitter to thereceiver.You can delete the remote control(s) from the Smart ButtonTM, first deleteall the remote controls, then learn the ones you would like to keep.1. Press and hold the learn button for approx 10 seconds on the SmartButtonTM.2. The LED will flash rapidly after 10 seconds to indicate all the pro-grammed remote controls have been erased. You may now releasethe learn button.3. You have erased all the remote controls in the Smart ButtonTM.Refer to the section in the Skylink® model GTR to install the Smart ButtonTMand follow the instructions below to program the transmitter.1. With the GTR Smart ButtonTM connected on yourexisting wall button. The red light on the SmartButtonTM should flash after plugging in the power.If the red light on the Smart ButtonTM is flashingslowly, that indicates it is in standby mode.2. Press the learn button on the side of the GTR.3. Once the learn button is pressed, the red LEDwill flash quickly. You may release the learnbutton.4. Press the button on the transmitter you wouldlike to program.5. Once the transmitter is programmed, the redLED will flash slowly, in the same way as itflashes in standby mode.6.
