Quick Installation Guide Plug the power Plug the Audio cable, and then adjust the volume Turn the Receiver’s power on Insert batteries Turn the Microphone’s power on Thank you very much for selecting DW‐25 Digital Wireless System. It is recommended to read this manual carefully before using to make optimum use of the equipment. DW‐25 Digital Wireless System, based on the concept of designing for modern lifestyle, with graceful curve, fine texture and user friendly design, is suitable for all kinds of scenario in family, karaoke, school, company, organization, or any place that requires the mobility function of the wireless microphone. 1. Parts and Functions: 2.1 DW‐25R Digital Wireless Receiver(as shown in Figure 2.1) (1) Power Switch: Switches on/off the Receiver, with status LED. (2) Antenna: Receives signals from the microphone. The angle of the antennas can be adjusted leftward, rightward or backward. (3) Mic A Connecting LED: Lights up when microphone A is successfully connected. (4) Mic B Connecting LED: Lights up when microphone B is successfully connected. (5) Mic B Volume Controller: Controls the output volume of microphone B. (6) Mic B Reset Button: Resets microphone B signals. (FOR TECHNICIANS USE ONLY) (7) ø 6.3mm Female Jack: Connects to the signal output of an amplifier. (8) Mic A Reset Button: Resets microphone A signals. (FOR TECHNICIANS USE ONLY) (9) Mic A Volume Controller: Controls the output volume of microphone A. (10) DC Power Receptacle: Connects DC adapter. The polarity of central pole is positive. (11) Cable Clasp: For secure the power cable. 2.2 Figure 2.1 DW‐25T Handheld Digital Wireless Microphone(as show in Figure 2.2) (1) Power Switch: Switches on/off the microphone (with status LED). (2) Distance Switch: Adjusts long, medium, short range of distance. (3) Microphone Reset Button: Resets microphone A signals. (FOR TECHNICIANS USE ONLY) (4) Antenna Cover: Protects the antenna, and the microphones can be easily identified with different color covers. (Do not hold onto this area while using the microphone) (5) Battery Compartment: Accommodates two AA batteries. Figure 2.2 3. Digital Wireless Microphone Operating Instruction 3.1 Set Up the System 3.1.1 Press the Power Switch on the Microphone to turn the power on, and the status LED will light up green; it indicates the Microphone power is on. If the LED keeps blinking, it indicates the microphone is not connected with the Receiver. 3.1.2 If the power of the Receiver has been turned on, and the Microphone Connecting LED on the Receiver lights up red, it indicates the Receiver has received the Microphone signals. Meanwhile, the Power Switch status LED on the Microphone will light up continuingly, the user can now talk into the Microphone. 3.1.3 For best result, keep the Microphone to the sound source in between 2‐5cm. 3.1.4 Adjust the volume too loud or move the Microphone too close to the loudspeaker might cause annoying feedback. When it happens, please turn down the volume on Receiver to avoid feedback. 3.2 Turn Off the System Press on the Power Switch on the Microphone, and the status LED will go off. When the Microphone power is off, the Microphone Connecting LED on the Receiver will also go off. Press on the Receiver Power Switch till the green power status LED goes off to complete the system turn off. 3.3 Replace Batteries: 3.3.1 When the Microphone is on, and it has already connected with the Receiver, but the power status LED on Microphone keeps blinking green, it indicates the battery energy is running low. Please replace the batteries. 3.3.2 Remove the Microphone housing and replace two new AA batteries in the Battery Compartment according to the polarity marks. 3.3.3 Put back the Microphone housing. Figure 3.1 3.4 Distance Adjustment 3.4.1 Adjust the Distance Switch according to the required distance range. Three distances available, long (approx. 30M), medium (approx. 20M), short (approx. 10M). Using shorter distance will increase the battery life. 3.4.2 Distance Switch location as show in Figure 3.2. 3.4.3 Distance Switch adjustment as shown in Figure 3.3. Pairing (FOR TECHNICIANS USE ONLY) 4.1 Plug the Power Adapter to DW‐25R, and then turn the power on. 4.2 Install batteries in DW‐25T, and then turn the power on. 4.3 Press the Reset Button on the Receiver, and the corresponding LED will blink. 4.4 Press the Reset Button on the DW‐25T, and the Microphone LED will blink. 4.5 The Microphone LED and Receiver A channel or B channel LED will blink simultaneously, it indicates the auto pairing is activated by the program. The pairing process takes about 10‐20 seconds, and then the LED on the paired products will light up continuingly, it indicates the pairing process is completed. 4.6 If the pairing process failed, please repeat 4.3‐4.4, and speed up the process. 5. Troubleshooting: 5.1 5.2 5.3 5.4 5.5 6. Wireless Receiver cannot be powered on: check if the power to the Receiver is well connected. The status LED on Wireless Microphone not light up when power is on: check if the batteries are properly installed or have enough energy. The status LED on Wireless Microphone keeps blinking: Check if the batteries have enough energy, or if the Receiver is powered on. No sound: Check if the volume is set too low, or if the sound cable is well connected. The maximum effective distance between the Digital Wireless Microphone and the Digital Wireless Receiver is 30M (when the Distance Switch is set at “long”), so the output audio might be inconsistent when beyond the effective range.
