The Frequency Translatorreceives a radio signal from a 315MHz remote andtransmits a 390MHz signal so you can operate yourgarage door opener.Installation and Programming1.Remove the Frequency Translatorfrom the carton and plug it into a120Vac polarized outlet as close aspossible to your garage door openerinside garage. Straighten theantenna.2. Press and release the “learn” buttonon the motor unit. The learn indicatorlight will glow steadily for 30seconds.3. Within 30 seconds, press and holdthe button on the 315MHz hand-heldremote that you wish to operate yourgarage door.4. Release the button when the motorunit lights blink. It has learned thecode. If light bulbs are not installed,two clicks will be heard.To Erase All Codes From Motor Unit MemoryTo deactivate any unwanted remote, first erase all codes:Press and hold the “learn” button on motor unit until thelearn indicator light goes out (approximately 6 seconds).All previous codes are now erased. Reprogram eachremote or keyless entry you wish to use.TroubleshootingIf the garage door opener does not open or close, confirmthat the Receiver/Transmitter indicator light blinks 4 timeswhen pressing the 315MHz remote button.Ensure the unit is plugged into a 120VAC AC polarizedoutlet.NOTICE: To comply with FCC and or Industry Canada (IC) rules, adjustment or modifications ofthis receiver and/or transmitter are prohibited, except for changing the code setting or replacingthe battery.
