Instruction Manual Specification: Indoor and outdoor temperatures displayed on the main LCD readout Temperature measurement range: Indoor main unit: 32F – 122F (0 ºC ~ +50 ºC) Wireless remote unit: -4 F – 130F (-20 ºC ~ +55 ºC) Temperature resolution: 0.1 degree Transmission range : up to 100ft. in an open area Instruction manual: ATTENTION: For the fist installation, insert the batteries in the display unit and then in the remote sensor Battery installation: Display unit Insert 2 fresh “AAA” alkaline batteries into the display unit. (Batteries not included) Remote sensor Insert 2 fresh “AAA” alkaline batteries into the remote sensor. (Batteries not included) Getting started: Indoor Display unit When the batteries are put into the display unit, it will display the indoor temperature .The outdoor reading “----” Remote sensor When the batteries are placed into the remote sensor, it will signal the temperature to the display unit. The display unit will then be able to display the outdoor temperature. You may need to push the Reset button on the back of the display unit. Replace the batteries in the Remote sensor and then you MUST press the RESET button on the Indoor Display unit (receiver). When the battery icon of the Indoor display unit (receiver) displays please replace the batteries in the Display unit (receiver). Antenna Icon Description: The antenna icon of the indoor window will display waving as signal from the remote sensor. The antenna icon of the outdoor window will display successfully receive the data from the remote sensor. when the receiver is receiving RF for 0.5 second when the receiver had When the outdoor window displays “- - -”, and the antenna icon of the indoor window displays continuously, the receiver maybe do not either receive any data from remote sensor or the remote sensor is located to far away from display unit (out of range). You MUST be press the RESET button on the Indoor unit (receiver). Troubleshooting: Using the Reset button on the Indoor unit (receiver): In some unusual occasions, the Indoor unit may be affected by electrical interference and respond abnormally. In such conditions, press the RESET button on the Indoor Display unit to resume normal operation. “RESETING” The Display unit should give you the indoor immediately and the outdoor temperature within 1 minute. Using the Reset button on the remote sensor (sender) In some unusual occasions, the remote sensor may be affected by electrical interference and respond abnormally. In such conditions, press the RESET button (located inside the battery compartment) on the remote sensor to resume normal operation. If you press the RESET button on the remote sensor, you MUST press the RESET button on the Indoor Display unit (receiver) as well. If or when the Indoor unit display “- - -“continuously in the outdoor window, it maybe that the remote sensor is out of range or the batteries low. Please put the Remote sensor (sender) close to the Indoor unit (receiver) or replace the fresh batteries. Note: If the Remote Sensor “RESET” button is pressed, or new batteries are installed in the Remote Sensor, you MUST press the Reset button on the Indoor Display unit (receiver).
