Cyber Knight (RF-626u) – The Wireless 3DJoystick Quick Start Guide.Software Installation1. Locate the bundled CD disc into your CD-ROM drive; wait for a few seconds foryour computer to read the disc.2. If your system is set up to automatically read a newly inserted CD, then the autorun program is executed and the opening screen for installation appears. Pleasefollow the on-screen instruction to install the Rockfire USB Driver and theGameWizard step-by-step. Once the installation screen asks you to input theserial number, please find it out from the CD packaging and then key in the rightkeystroke from your keyboard for keeping installation forward.If your system doesn’t launch the installation software automatically, please findthe auto execute file “Install.bat”, which is located under the directory of yourCD drive and click on it, then follow the on-screen instruction to install theRockfire USB Driver and the GameWizard software accordingly.3. Upon software installation completed, restart you PC as the installation screenrequests.Hardware Installation Insert the Cyber Knight receiver USB connector to the USB port or USB Hub ofyour computer and make sure it is firmly connected. After the receiver is connected, then the monitor shows “Find a new hardware”and the Rockfire USB driver is located and GameWizard appears in the StartTray for your instant access game play.After you finish installation, the Cyber Knight will be ready to use.Launch your game, then setup the buttons as desired. (Refer to yourgame manual for best game control settings.)
Operation Reference1. No Calibration Required.Upon the software installation completed, there is an exclusive driver for thisjoystick along with the software installed in your PC. This driver provides you theconvenience to start game play right away once the hardware and softwareinstallation completed yet without the complicated game controllers’ calibrationprocedure you have to perform before start using the conventional joysticks.2. Instant Game play AccessThe GameWizard starts to run automatically each time when you boot yourcomputer. It appears as an icon in the Start Tray, for your instant access gameplay at anytime, as you want. For more details about software operation, pleaserefer to the Help / e-manual inside the CD, or the online manual in theGameWizard to get sufficient information.3. 3D Ergonomic Handgrip with Rudder FunctionThis joystick is equipped with the 3D ergonomic handgrip, which offers 360-degree auto centering movement and the precise hand-twist rudder control foryour instant maneuver in gaming.4. Functioning ButtonsYou are happy to know there are 8 independent functioning buttons equipped onthis powerful game control system. The functions of A (The fire trigger), B, C, D,E & F (Function buttons in the handgrip) and G & H (Function buttons at the base)are all game dependent. Refer to the game manual for the best use for thesebuttons, and such numbers of button is sufficient enough for you to control popgames.7. Channel SelectorThe channel selector avails dual player to play a game software at the same time.Its frequency is preset to accept any interference received, includinginterference that may cause undesired operation.If the receiver is set at Channel 1 then the joystick should be set at Channel 1.This logic is applicable for dual player having a second set of Cyber Knight at thistime, the second device should be set at Channel 2.Importance & Attention1. Ensure the Joystick ID of Cyber Knight is “Joystick 1”, if it is properlyplugged but does not work. *If the receiver is properly plugged to your PC but it seems does not working,please enter the Game Controllers page (Start \ Setting \ Control Panel \Game Controllers or Joysticks) and select “Advanced “ page to check the name“Rockfire Cyber Knight” is in the “Controller 1” or not. Note when there is onlyone game controller connected to your PC, this joystick must absolutely bethe “Controller 1” and then it works. If the Cyber Knight is not the“Controller 1”, please remove it from the Game Controllers page, as well asother installed controller. Subsequently re-install the joystick and complete thecalibration procedure, then it will work as usual.Note: If you are playing duo using two “Rockfire Cyber Knight”, please checkGame Controllers page. There should be two “Rockfire Cyber Knight” registeredin “Controller 1” and “Controller 2” respectively, if not, un-plug the none functioning“Rockfire Cyber Knight” and re-plug the receiver.
2. Not every game requires all functioning buttons (8 buttons) on your joystick. Ifyou find some buttons do not work inside the game, please check the gamesetting again.3. The function of the joystick buttons may vary in different games. Before proceedwith game setting, whatever through the GameWizard or from the OPTIONinside the game, always read your game manual carefully to approach the bestgame setting. 4. If the game supports a joystick / gamepad and you wish to play the game withits default joystick setting instead of through the GameWizard, please disableGameWizard from its exclusive control panel. *5. The “Rockfire Cyber Knight” needs little care and services. You may clean it witha damp cloth periodically. Do not use abrasive cleaners of any type and donot spray liquid cleaners directly on your Joystick.
