That is to say, one can simply start the client in the phone anywhere at any time to check if one’s appliance is currently in the on or off status. Figure 16 Figure 17 Figure 18 Remote Control: When you are not in the current socket Wi-Fi LAN, you can remote control them via GPRS, mobile 3G or other Wi-Fi networks (Just make sure your phone is connected to the Internet). The system automatically confirms whether you are local or remote. If remote, it will detect the remote control password at the first time clicking power button; after the password is confirmed, you can enter the control status. Note: When switching remote and LAN, one network may appear off, yet another on the network still connecting; the client will prompt the device is not online, this process may take dozens of seconds or one minute; at this moment you also can manually refresh and then you can enter the device online (if the network connection is OK). Note: Due to Wi-Fi network is limited or protected in some places, Phone or table PC can connect Wi-Fi network to the Internet, but can not use it to remote control. Once locked, no one can search out the socket. Users who have added the socket can also control the device, only after unlocked, can those who never added the device search it within the local network; which ensures the concealment and security of your device. When you and those who you want them to control have added the device, you can enable this function (but delete the device from the list accidentally after you lock the setting, you can restore the factory settings, details see restored factory settings X below ). Note: suggest that do not use “lock function” when you use device normally Figure 23 Figure 24 Click "Change password" (see Figure 25), the remote password of the device can be changed. Fill in the old and new password as requested (factory default remote password is 666666) (see Figure 26 & 27). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: —Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. —Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. —Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. —Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication. XV. MPE Reminding To satisfy FCC / IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons during device operation. To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this distance is not recommended. XVI.
