Contents:
Before getting started, ensure the package contains the following
components:
• One 150Mbps 802.11b/g/n USB Wireless Adapter.
• Adapter installation disc.

Install the Driver and Utility
Note 1: This printed manual is a shortened quick start guide to explain how
to connect your device to a network via the WLAN adapter. A detailed manual
you can find as pdf file on the supplied installation CD. You can also download
the software and the manuals online from: www.amazon.com
Note 2: The following installation was operated under Windows 10.
A. Insert the Installation CD to your CD-ROM Drive. Double click on the file
starting “IS_Setup_ICS…” to start the installation.
B. Confirm the permission to the app to make changes on the device.
C. To accept the license agreement, select “I accept the terms of the license
agreement” and click “Next”.
Notice: If you want to change the installation setup, please click “Back” to
return to previous page to set it up again. If you want to quit the installation,
please click “Cancel”.
D. You can choose the installation type for the actual needs. “Install driver
and Mediatek WLAN Utility” is our recommended choice. Click “Next” to
proceed.
E. A window will pop up to prompt that the system is ready for the installation.
Click “Install”.
F. The system will show the installation processing bar. After the installation,
another interface will show up.

G. When the installation process is done, the system will remind a information.
Click “Finish” to accomplish the installation. The installation wizard will shut
down automatically.
Check Device Status
• After the installation is completed, a Wireless Configuration Utility is
visible on the desktop of your computer automatically. You can find an icon
on the task bar.
• Plug in the product into the USB 2.0 port.
• After plugging in, the blue LED indicator on the adapter lights up. At the
same time, the
grey cross on the icon changes to a
red cross to
inform you that the device is available but without any WLAN connection.
• You can check its condition in the Device Manager. Double click device
name
“802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card” to check further details.
Device Connection
A. When device is working properly, double click or right click on
choose “Launch Config Utility”. The following window
icon and
appears:

B. Click the
icon to show all available wireless networks:
C. Choose the desired wireless network name. The access point information
of that network will be shown on the bottom for reference. Click the right
arrow
to start the connection.
• If the encryption pattern is NONE, the system will auto-connect
and the basic information of that network will be shown in the main
window.
• If the encryption pattern is not NONE, the window “Profile Settings”
will pop up when click to connect this wireless network. Choose the
authentication and encryption type.
Click
to go to next step to input the WPA preshared key.

D. Click
to confirm the entered key. It the key is correct the connection
will be build up automatically.
• On the right part,the connected network is marked with a green tick
• Networks which are using the 5G band are marked with a yellow
“a”
E. Click on the antenna symbol
to disconnect the network connection.
