1. Product Overview
GNOV1B is an embedded GSM/GPRS/EDGE module for use within Stolen Vehicle Tracking products (SVT). This

SVT is a module that performs the functions of tracking and also antitheft. This is accomplished with GPS and
GSM/GPRS technologies and vehicle blocking circuitry. The module can receive binary SMS messages from a
server and communicate with a server using packet data thus allowing a Service Provider (SP) to monitor the vehicle
and obtain the actual position coordinates.
SVT allows receiving of GPS satellite signals to determine the position of a vehicle and to transmit it at
programmable time intervals to a SP by means of a GSM/GPRS modem radio.
